CHAPTER FOUR.

 I slow opened my eyes only to shut them back the next second. The room was extremely bright. I slowly opened my eyes again and tried to adjust to the bright lighting.

White ceiling, white cotton, white hospital bed and a white hospital gown. It was blinding.

 I threw my head back, and tried to recall the last thing that happened and where I was.

 Xavier and I were surrounded by wolves, and he suddenly went into heat. He passed out later on and I.....

 Fuck! Xavier!

 I yanked out the IV attached to my hand and hurried out of the bed. My limb gave out, and I fell to ground with a groan. I was aching all over and my bones were not fully healed yet.

 I couldn't stand up so I stayed still to catch my breath first. The door suddenly opened and in came a woman. My pupils dilated as I started crawling backwards while falling over myself.

" Hey what are you doing?!" she ran towards me.

My back hit a side draw and i came to a halt. She crouched down in front of me and her scent made me relax a bit. I couldn't believe she was an omega! A female omega! I've never seen one before.

" Why did you remove the IV drip?" she helped me back onto the bed " You need to rest and heal first. Where do you intend to go in this state?"

" Wh...who are you? " My voice was hoarse and dry " Where am I? Where's my brother?"

" My name's Nyx and I'm the pack healer." she smiled while connected the IV back " You're in my pack clinic, so you're safe and your brother is in another room. You can't visit him cause his pheromones are out of control and according to what I gathered from the others, it's his first heat."

" Is he okay?"

" He's fine. " She smiled " So what's your name? "

" Lucien."

 " A beautiful name for a beautiful omega." she smiled " I've never seen a wolf with such hair, and it's natural too. And your eyes... Bright green and electric blue. Beautiful, I must say."

 I lowered my head and smiled slightly. Alexia always said the same thing and even the omegas were close to ripping my hairs out and sticking it to their heads.

" Thank you." I said softly.

" Shy are you?" I heard her laugh " You don't have to be like that. I know you and your brother are not rogues, so you're safe here."

" What pack is this? " I raised my head to ask.

" Silver Crescent Moon Pack. " She smiled, but I felt my world spin in a 360 degree.

 The Silver Crescent Moon Pack? I'm fucked! Of all the packs to stumble into, I had to faint at the boarders of an enemy's territory! If they find out I'm from the Dark Moon Pack, they'll kill me for sure. And Xavier....

" You're from Dark Moon right?" I heard her ask.

 I frantically shook my head to reject that claim. I don't their tattoo, so they can't prove any-"

" I saw your brother's tattoo." she raised an eyebrow " I don't know why you don't have one, but I'm sure you're both from Dark Moon."

 I opened my mouth to speak when the door swung open and a terrible scent hit me; Alpha. And a Beta. Both dominant.

 " Good." I heard the Beta speak " He's finally awake."

" Why are you two doing here?" Nyx frowned.

 " We have some questions to ask, we're not gonna eat him." The Alpha said.

  I had my head down cause even though I always challenge Alpha Nicolas and the others back at Dark Moon, I was on enemies territory and my brother is in their hands.

" Stand there and don't come any closer. The kid's frightened, can't you see?"

 I nodded internally. Yes yes! Don't come any closer! Stay away!

 " You're from the Dark Moon Park. What's your intentions in coming here?"

" I already told your Delta, I have no intentions to tread into your territory." I tried not to fidget and just imagined it was any other Alpha " We were attacked by rogues and my brother and I got separated from the rest. The snowstorm hindered us and by the time it cleared up, we were lost."

" You expect me to believe that?"

 " Well what do you want me to say?!" I raised my head and stared straight into his eyes with irritation " You can either believe me or believe your own version and speculations. The last thing I wanna do is be here."

 " Why don't you have the Pack's tattoo? " The beta questioned " Every pack member are born with it, and according to Nyx, your brother has one, but you don't."

 I winced at the sharp words and memories flooding my vision.

" Cause I'm not from Dark Moon, damnit!" I seethed " I was just some stray wolf abandoned on their pack borders. Even if I was from Dark Moon, I'll find a way to get rid of the tattoos even if I have to peel off my own skin!"

 The room went quiet as I gripped the sheets hard and lowered my head back. I Just fucking yelled at him! The head Alpha of an enemy's pack! This is me practically digging my own grave!

 " You two, out." Nyx frowned.

  I didn't raise my head, but I heard them leave and the suffocating feeling I felt, dissipated immediately.

 " Sorry." she held my shoulders " They can be a handful at times. Don't take it the wrong way, they're just worried. They don't mean any harm."

" And what about you?" I gripped the sheets tighter " I'm from Dark Moon and there's bad blood between our packs. And I just yelled at the freaking head Alpha! He's gonna kill me for sure! And Xavier-"

" He won't do that." Nyx interrupted " I know he might look harsh and all, but he won't kill you just because of something as minor as that. If he's wrong, you need to put him in his place."

" But he's the head Alpha." I murmured " Alpha Nicolas would have had me flogged if I did that to him."

 " Can you repeat that?" Nyx frowned " He'll hit you? Is that where all the marks came from?"

 My hand subconsciously flew to the back of my neck, but it only made me seem more guilty. She's seen everything including the ones I didn't show Xavier and the other omegas.

" What...what exactly is going on in that pack of yours?"

 I refuse to say a word. Like hell I'll tell an enemy about my pack. As much as I hate them all, I had to make sure Alexia and the others are safe.

 " Oh, sorry. I must have crossed a line." Nyx apologized.

 " No...No you didn't. I'm the one who trespassed and still yelled at your pack members."

 " It's fine. You can yell all you want." she laughed and stood up " I'll go get you something to eat. Is there anything you're allergic to?"

" No."

" Okay. I'll be back."

 I nodded and laid down. My body was still aching, and I don't think I'll heal anytime soon. Judging by the way that Alpha reacted, Xavier and I aren't getting out of this one.

 Is their pack different to Dark Moon? No that's impossible! Omegas will always be treated like that.

What if they want me and Xavier to.... No! No fucking way! I have to get us out of here!
