CHAPTER TWO.

 I slowly opened my eyes and tried to adjust to the bright lighting of the room. I glanced at the familiar ceiling, blue curtains and white hospital bed.

 Glancing down, I saw an IV drip connected to my right hand. I threw my head back and sighed. My bones were aching like crazy, but I was used to it.

 Pain. It's not a new thing to me. It's something I experience every few days. Due to the training I go through every day, my body heals faster than other omegas, but I end up getting those bones broken again in a few days.

 The door suddenly swing open as a figure ran towards my bedside.

" Lucie? You're finally awake!" Xavier was crying his eyes out while holding me.

" Alright, stop crying now." I tried to pacify him.

" Do you know how worried we all are? The others have been crying and blaming themselves these past few days."

 " Wait days? " I widened my eyes " how long was I out for? "

 " Three days."

" Three days?! " I struggled to sit up " How are the others? Did anything while I was out? Are they-"

" Lucie, slow down." Xavier held me down " We are safe. Alexia has been keeping us safe this past few days. "

" Are you sure?"

" Will I lie to you? We're really fine. They're all waiting for you to wake up."

  I calmed down and laid back down. It's good nothing happened. Since all the chores and work are handled by the Omegas, it's easily for them to be raped if they're away from the omega hostel. I can't help but worry.

" Alpha Nicolas said to visit him once you wake up."

" Tell him I'm dead. " I deadpanned and shut my eyes.

" Don't you dare joke like that." Xavier smacked my arm " Nothing will happen to you. Don't say things like that."

 " Alright don't cry. I was just joking." I quickly soothed him.

  Ah! How can I die and leave you behind?

  Three days later, my bones were healed, and my scars were slowly fading. My room has been packed with omegas every day since I woke up. Some came with food while others came to ask about my well-being.

 Kiran has been bawling his eyes out and blaming himself for what happened to me. No matter how hard I tried to convince him, he just wouldn't listen so I let him cry to his heart satisfaction.

 The thing I'm dreading the most is Alpha Nicolas' order. I have to go see him soon or he might take out his anger on the Omegas. He knows they're my weakness, so he always try to threaten me with them.

 " Vier." I called out " let's go meet head Alpha Nicolas. If I wait it out any longer, I might die of Anxiety."

  We dragged our feet towards Alpha Nicolas office. After knocking and receiving the order to enter, we walked in.

 My pupils constricted when I smell the pheromones of three dominant Alphas. Alpha Nicolas has guests.

" Alpha." Xavier and I lowered our head as we tried not to show any signs of weakness to their pheromones.

 " Raise your heads." I heard Alpha Nicolas command.

 Though confused, I complied and raised my head. I tried not to stare into their eyes as I took in their features. They were young Alphas with domineering presence.

 One was blond with blue eyes and a pale skin. He was putting on a suit with a coat on top.

 The other was brunette with hazel eyes and a soft feature. His skin was even more paler than the blond. He was also putting on a suit with a coat on top. They both had smiles on their faces, but it felt disgusting to me.

" What do you think?" I heard Alpha Nicolas say, which only add to my confusion.

" I'll take the one with Silver hair and mismatched eyes. Conner can take the one with black hair."

  Wait what?! What the actual fuck is going on here?! I raised my head and stared at Alpha Nicolas.

 " Alpha. I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean." I tried not to grit my teeth.

 " You and your brother are going to get mated to these Alphas. What don't you understand? "

 I felt my world crashed down heavily upon me, threatening to bury me in it ruins. Mated? To an Alpha? I'll rather die!

 " I wouldn't do that if I were you." Alpha Nicolas voiced out " I know what you're thinking boy, and it's best if you don't do anything foolish. I'm sure you're other 'brothers' wouldn't want to see that."

 I clenched my fist tight as I lowered my head in defeat. Xavier grabbed unto me, but there's nothing we can do. Our fates has been sealed.

 Very quickly, the news spread around the whole pack. The silver haired omega who serves as a protector for the omegas, is getting sold of to another pack.

 The Omegas were bawling their eyes out up until the day Xavier and I were to leave arrived. Our so called ' future mates ', came to pick us up with their warriors.

 Xavier was putting on a pair of turtleneck and jeans with a blue coat while I was putting on a black button down shirt with trousers and a gray coat. Winter was right around the corner.

We each had a bag pack with us. It took us a while to leave cause Alexia and the omegas were unwilling. After advising and encouraging them to look after each other, Xavier and I were separated and placed in different cars.

I sat close to the window as I tried to create as much space as possible between Alpha Conrad and I. I stared at my reflection in the tinted glass. My hair was up in a rough bun cause I was in a hurry. My mismatched eyes were dull and almost looked lifeless.

The usual green glow and sparkling blue eyes Xavier loved and cherished, had died. I looked even paler than usual. I was nervous as hell.

" You don't have to be nervous you know." I turned towards Alpha Conrad " Nicolas said you and your brother haven't had your first heat yet, so you don't have to be so nervous. We'll get to know each other first and even after your first heat, I can wait till you're ready."

I blinked at him before lowering my head and staring at my entwined fingers. Alphas....their silver tongue are unmatched!

I played along and nodded my head slowly. This is the only chance I have to escape. Once we leave the woods, I won't be able to escape from him if we enter his pack grounds.

I can't let that happen. To either me or Xavier! I dread the thought of mating with my own fated mate, and now I have no choice but to mate with another Alpha who's not. I hate it! I hate everything! I hate-

My thoughts were interrupted when the car came to a screeching halt. Alpha Conrad grabbed my hand much to my dissatisfaction and drew me close to him.

" What the fuck happened?!" he yelled.

" Rogue attack! "
