Alisa’s POV
I walked to my room as I return to the
mansion… this mansion is empty and lonely… they say right… home is not about
building but people… large empty hallways are always prison for me… never
home…. I never find a place I can truly call my home……… the memory of Edwin
carrying me in his arms flash in front of my eyes… why do my mind always go to
him every time…
I was about to reach my room when I heard a hiss…. Then I heard the door
closing sound… I walked to the direction as my legs were attracted to there…. I
was anxious… I was standing in front of
Edwin’s room and I want to check it once if he there or not…. Last time I ended
up getting scold… I shouldn’t….. but this is same floor as me, maybe it will be
fine…. I heard a hiss again…. I can’t
anymore.
I turned the door knob to open the door, I was Edwin was sitting on the
bed and Ken was standing in the corner and the same doctor as that day was
dressing Edwin’s shoulder… I can still see traces of wipe blood, his face was
cold but I know it might have hurt him a lot…. for some reason I can feel it. I
dropped my purse at the same place, and walked in hurry…. To him..
I was about to reach him but he stopped me by raising his other hand and
telling me to stop before I move further to him. I stopped as I was amazed my
his actions… I noticed my eyes were already moist like they will shed tears any
moment.
I know the doctor and Ken was surprised to see me. the doctor kept doing
what she was doing before while Edwin kept his gaze away from my reach. I wipe
my tears and looked at Ken and Ken moved his head in a ‘No’ .
I don’t know what exactly this means but I know I shouldn’t talk at this
moment. After the doctor was done, Ken walked out with her and door closed…
finally we were the only two left here,,,, he looked at me once with cold
expression and turned to the drawer.
