Alisa’s POV:
since when does he cares for me…
I said, “No need to call the doctor… I just need first aid box.” He gave
me a death glare and walked to me… god I am dead meat… is he going to hit me…
he picked me up and placed me gently on the bed… he placed hand on my forehead
and I hissed as I felt the pain, he said, “Does it hurt?.... where else are you
hurt?...” I didn’t answer, my body is reacting weirdly, I am feeling
butterflies in my stomach.
Then he asked being cold, “What the f**k happened to you?.... tell me
who did this.” I tried to avoid the situation I said, “I am hungry…”
He asked a maid to bring me food then he turned to me and said, “You
can’t protect those who hurt you… I will find them even if you try to stop me.”
I saw his eyes were in rage, just because I got hurt, but it is not even
serious.. but why is he so protective and caring towards me… this is not what I
thought… don’t over think Alisa, he is still the same person…. Don’t fall in
love with him again…….. like you did years ago… stop being stupid…
The doctor arrived and she treated my wounds, I know they are not
serious, she left soon. Edwin was there all the time staring at me… this is
uncomfortable. He got a call and I heard him saying, “Ken they harm both yours
and mine, so handle them with no mercy… how dare they…” he stopped as he
remembered me being here. so, he can’t tell me everything he does, what I am
even excepting… he don’t consider me as his wife… remember you are just a
‘possession’ to him… nothing more… but it makes some corner of my heart ache.
He looked at me and god! He looks really scary, like he will eat me
alive. he walked to me and stood beside me. he directed his hand to my face and
was he going to slap me… oh! No!... second slap in a day…. My jaw is going to
break, I closed my eyes as I was preparing myself for the huge impact…. But it
never came. He touched my cheek gently and I opened my eyes on this…
