Alisa’s POV:
I sat down and grasped air, I fixed myself and walked to the main hall.
I saw everyone of my family was standing. I went to them and asked grandpa,
“Are we leaving?... I am tired.”
Grandpa said, “Yes we are, your grandma is also tired.” He chuckled.
Grandma pocked grandpa with her elbow and said, “Still better than you.”
everyone laughed and I tried to mix with the moment as I was trembling from
inside.
I grasped as I felt a hand around my arms
and I saw Edwin looking at me with smile, he said, “We will also try to be this
sweet when we get old, right honey… I mean your grandpa and grandma are sweet
couple.” He was saying all this as what he did while ago was nothing, I tried
to pushing him but his hand got tighter around me. I looked at grandpa he was
angry so was Ruth. Mom and Dad were not happy and grandma was not a different story.
Edwin said again, “Good evening President
Scott….. I hope you don’t mind that I didn’t come early to greet you, I had
business to do, you know we are family so I hope you understand that.”
Ruth pulled me to her but failed due
Edwin’s grip. She said maintaining her voice, “Leave her bastard…. Let her go.”
Edwin said with a smirk, “You should
show a little respect to me, as your brother-in-law…. (looks at Alisa) looks
like you told something and that changed her attitude…” I shiver…, I pushed him
and took a step to grandpa. Grandpa immediately pulled me on his side.
Edwin had anger and ego in his eyes. He
smirked throwing his head behind and fixing his hairs,,,, he really looks evil
at this point. Grandpa said, “Mr. Gray, my granddaughter divorced you… this
marriage end, stop forcing yourself on her………. whatever happened is a secrete
let it be a secrete… it’s better for everyone.”
He let a small chuckle as everything is a joke for him, he came forward
to grandpa and said with anger, “Old man, I am being good not to kill you after
you helped…
