  **  Episode-287 “the surprise party”**

**    Edwin’s POV:**

         In the evening,

       I asked the ken to make kid ready, well

Ken and Shane are doing this and helping me.. I planned something for my

amazing wife.. so off course I need to remind her how amazing and important she

is for me… well it not some business party but it’s a small party for the new

babies, only family will be here, her parents can’t be here so I arranged a

live broadcast in their home.. I want to thank my little dove for making

me a man with family and now she is carrying twins. I am more happy than I can

ever imagine so I decided to celebrate it.. and this is surprise for my little

dove, so I had to lie to her, she was not agreeing to come, god knows how many

times I internally prayed that she will agree.. but she somehow did agreed, I

am glad she did or wouldn’t have knows what was I going to do..  anyways she is always busy, she does a lot and

now she is pregnant again I need to celebrate again…especially when it’s

twins.. and I will put her on strict rest time in day, I will ask her to reduce

her work,… so she can rest….

          I  was making sure the decoration and preparation

was done nicely and polished, when I heard Shane screaming, well I looked at

them.. he screamed loud. Shane was holding his finger, it looks like it hurt

him.. I saw Alexis smiling… what happened.. I am confused.. Shane is acting

like a kid and Alexis looks angry but smiling like he tricked someone.. I

know his that smile.. it’s just I don’t know what he did this time… Alexis

is youngest so usually I let him go with some stuff.. I should stop that..

seriously.. I am curious what happened to Shane and his finger….

     Ken was helping Ernest with his attire,

Ernest said to me being all cool, “Don’t worry dad.. Alex just bite Uncle

Shane.. so uncle is about to cry…. Uncle Shane is unlucky today..” I saw Ken

sighing, well I know.. I know why Ken sigh, now-a-days kids act over smart

after committing stupid and wrong actions… Shane looked at me and said, “It

hurts.. his teeth are like needles.. I am lucky it’s not bleeding” that

over dramatic.. I know Alexis will not do that, my kids won’t bite you till you

bleed, he did it so you can learn a small  lesion for offending him, wait.. bit still wrong..  I need to warn him.. Alisa won’t like it

to know that Alexis bite someone out of anger… well it’s not good I admit.. but

he is just a kid.. and he is just 4 and adorable..

   Alexis showed his tough to Shane mocking him, and maybe my son is

enjoying his small victory, I want to laugh but I controlled it all in  and before I could speak Alexis  said, “I said.. I don’t like  ties!…. no ties!” he is angry.. he doesn’t

like ties, and he is so strong to his words and decision, that he got angry..

but I know tie goes with his outfit, but Alexis will not wear something he

doesn’t like.. Alexis gets angry easily  and throw tantrum, well we can’t except anymore from a 4 year old, what

he wants is what he wants..aren’t all kids like this, what he hates is

something makes him scream, cry, whine and bite sometimes.. Shane should

have tried after few ‘no’s.. but maybe he didn’t knew his finger for pay for

his sin against the Prince Alexis, I internally laughed, but  kept it all in so Alexis won’t think he is

right… I walked to him and helped him with the tie, I said, “baby.. we are

preparing mommies surprise.. so be a good boy.. ok?” I am trying to make

him wear a tie, he will look cute and Alisa will like him and say he is cute…

I want her to be happy, so boys we have to do this for mom,… he smiled but

he pulled the tie and disturbed it saying, “I hate tie.. I am not wearing.. it!”

I sigh.. there is no way to win against him, he never really agrees to

something he doesn’t like. So I ultimately know even if I spend hour to help

him with a tie, he is till not wearing… and I don’t have time anyways .. Alisa

will come any moment. there is no time to waste.. I need to be ready to

surprise her and a little boy without a tie won’t matter until he is cute.. no

ties!. so let it be.. no tie.. so no tie for him..

     I  finally fixed both of their clothes, I made sure Alexis and Ernest are

looking good, she is going to love this, I was proud on myself  and said, “OK.. boys.. when mommy comes.. we

are going to say.. ‘surprise’” both of them nodded.. I hope this goes well.. I

hope boys follow the instruction well, it should be a surprise that she can

remember for years.., Ernest and Alexis said, “ok dad” I smiled and I really

think sometimes they listen and follow well.. or maybe it depends on their

mood… whatever.. I hope the help me make this surprise special….. anyways I am

sure Alisa will like this because, family and love is what important to her..

she is not after diamonds, gold, branded bags, shoes clothes.. she is only

after family bonding.. and I love this fact about her but I will keep spoiling

her with what I think looks good on her.. everything look god on her.. anyways

now, focus… she needs to be happy…

   I smiled, my eyes went to my watch, isn’t she late.. or am I being

impatient… I looked at Ken and I  asked

demandingly, “where is she?..” Ken looked at his watch, and said, “in few

minutes..” Ken looks done with me but I am the boss.. so there is no way he

will complain. Anyways it’s his jo to listen to me and help me with stuff… I am

the boss…

    I saw my mom and dad walking in, both if them looked around and smiled

at each other… good!. so mom likes it.. so most likely little dove will also

like it…, I smiled at then. I went to hug mom but she passed me and when to

Ernest and Alexis.. suddenly I feel and assure that once your mom is grandma

she is not your mom anymore.. she dedicates everything to grandkids, regardless

the fact that her grandkids are brats.. she really ignored her only son for her

grandkids..  I sigh, I shouldn’t be

jealous of my own kids.. let them enjoys,.. she loves them more than me.. I

don’t mind, Alisa loves me.. that enough. I sound stupid, but I am ok till

Little dove loves me.. she will love me forever.... I heard mom saying, “ohhh!

Look at my two Prince.. looking like little gentle men.. aww.. so cute.. my

little Ernest and Alexis…” I heard Ernest saying, “I am gentle man… not little

anymore.” I smiled at them… yea.. it’s funny how kids try to grow up fast

even  before they learn to enjoy their

stress-free, happy life… well life as a kid is best… but these kids trying to

grow up before it’s time.. I chuckled..

   Mom then turned to as she looked at me and she asked demandingly but

with a smile, “so.. when are we going to surprise Alisa.. and why is this party

anyway.. you didn’t tell me.. I need to know, it will be more fun for me”  I am not telling her right now.. no. not now…yes..

she doesn’t know about Alisa being pregnant again and the twins.. I want Alisa

to be here first and I want her to see their reactions.. Dad stood beside me,

and the kids ran to him. maybe this will cause some distraction and me escaping

from mom’s demanding eyes.. I know she wants to no.. but I want it be

secrete till Alisa comes here… Kids Immediately went into dad’s arms, dad

has a good relation with these kids, and I enjoy it.. yea..it’s relaxing and as

a parents you feel good when your kids receive the love they deserve, my kids

won’t have problem with it.. since they have a amazing mother and superwomen

grandma, and me and dad are just here to be extra sure that they are safe,

healthy, happy, protected and loved … women’s of this family are amazing..

anyways, Dad says they are really like me, so he feel like he went back to my

childhood when he spend times with them, play with them.. I don’t think I

was this naughty when I was a kid… but whatever.. or maybe I was… I am not

going to admit it openly ever….

   Mom asked again to me, this time looking in my eyes, “so.. tell me the

occasions…” she is not giving up.. I know her.. but I really can’t tell her

like this.. this will spoil the fun and the surprise too..

   I just said, “you have to wait,.. Alisa will be here any minute…” I

looked around the room and it’s perfect.. I guess so.. I hope she likes it.. I

am nervous for nothing.. Ken signaled and the light’s went off…  god! why am I so nervous.. I am nervous as the

day I proposed her… and the day she walked to me in wedding dress.. I feel the

same.. people are right, sometime your heart and mid act crazy for no reason..

she is my wife… I shouldn’t be nervous….

    She is here,,  Ken whispered in my

ear, “Be ready.. Queen is here…” I stood with my breath getting stick in my

body.. I can hear her footsteps… she is walking in… my prepared myself..  but I am getting nervous at the same time.. no

I should be intact… I am Edwin Grey.. come on…

    Alisa’s POV:

               I am wearing blue dress and some

heels.. they are not that high.. I promise they don’t hurt my feet, I made

sure I was comfortable, I need to be careful when I am with baby.. and the

dress wasn’t a problem since my belly is flat.., I am trying to go on the

decent side rather than hot.. well.. Edwin said it’s a party related to his

work, so there is no use of being hot and I am queen so I try to be as decent

and elegant I can be, why do I want to be hot in these places.. I prefer being

hot in front of my husband, I get uncomfortable sowing my body.. don’t

take me wrong, I love my body, but I hate reveling dresses..….. anyways I love

comfortable dresses.. so being sexy or hot is not on my list to do.. comfort is

the best way to style.. you won’t look good when you are not comfortable or

happy in a dress.. so comforts equals style for me…

    I am sitting in the car strolling through my phone, Edwin send me car

and said he will come with the kids at the venue., I checked on GPS.. it will

took 10 to 15 minutes to reach….. I hope kids won’t create a problem to him., I

hope they are dressed well and well behaved... but I know how Edwin will manage

to take care of the kids,… I mean he should.. he is the father… they take after

him so he should take care of them pretty well., to be honest I am worried

about Edwin, will he be ok with kids getting ready.. wait.. maybe Edwin will

ask for someone to help.. yes.. how can I forget he has servants…. anyways Ernest,

Alexis are like friend with Edwin… they have secret, they spend some cool time

together… they play computer games together.. maybe this is all boys thing,

maybe be they will be fine.. I wish I could do this to… I smiled to

myself..  I can hope the twins to be girls..

yea.. I feel the  need to know and be a

mother of girls.. there are boys in the family we need princesses too.. I

really don’t’ know yet what are the gender.. we need a girl in the household,

Edwin says he wanted a girl when I was pregnant with Alexis, but god had

different plans for us.. Edwin’s mom want us to have daughter since my first

pregnancy.. she always wanted a daughter so do I…  I can just hope.. this family has no girl

born since Edwin’s mom was born.. like no girl for years.. Edwin’s don’t have

siblings and I have two boys, so I just hope I have girls this time…

   The

car stopped, I was pulled out of my thought and I got down from the  car, my bodyguards are still behind me, well

now I have no problem with them. like I know how to live without noticing them

around.. I looked around there are really no cameras…  Edwin promised and he keeps his promise.. no

camera and no media.. so my kids won’t be on the first page of the news paper..

I just want them to have a normal life.. the normal life every kid have a right

to live.. I am proud of my husband not only because he understood my and

fulfilled my whishes but he is also a good dad.. he is protecting the kids very

well.. well he gets really serious matters related to kids security.. he is

always protective and I admire it a lot…

   I walked in the this hall as I looked around … As I walk in it’s dark,

no one is around just empty hall.. wait! What……. I looked around and said to

myself, “am I on the right place?” everything is quite… no movements.. I

remember the venue clearly.. but I do feel like I am on the wrong location…

it’s dark.. I took a few more steps in this dark palace.. where is every

everyone…  I should just call Edwin…

I am not panicking because my bodyguards are with me, so I know there is

nothing serious, maybe I am at the wrong place…I shouldn’t get to a bad  conclusion..so I decided to call Edwin and

check again the location.. I am sure he send me wrong address.. this doesn’t

look like party… Its really dark here.. I can’t see anything…

     As I pulled the my phone out of my bag to

call Edwin, the lights went on the same moment, I was in complete shock… I

looked around in surprise and trying to understand the situation.. I heard a

loud and cheerful “surprise!!!!!” I looked around and I see the whole family..

my whole family… I see Edwin, his mom dad.. ken Tina… Their kids and Shane.. I

see my little boys cheering with them.. my face turned from surprise to smile..

I smiled more as I see my boys in suit.. they look cute…  I looked at Edwin so this was a surprise for

me, not some event.. that’s why he was forcing me too much.. he won, I

love it.. and I feel like I won.. we all won this happy day and moment.. which

is really precious…

    Edwin walked to me with a smile and I looked at him processing

everything, he did all of this for me, and I fell top of the world and special

person… in mean time Ernest and Alexis ran to me with a smile.. Alexis said,

“mommy surprise!!!!!!” I chuckled, aww.. so cute.. my babies! I can’t help but

smile, well who want not to smile in moments like this.. so this is a surprise

party for me… I looked at Edwin who is looking at me with proud… surprise for

me!... why?... I don’t care for the reason till I have my kids and this lovely

family… I am really happy on this…. I love to share this moments with them

    Edwin walked closer and kissed me lightly, well my heart is filled with

happiness and butterflies, I kissed him back lightly and my smile is not

leaving my face, I am so happy this moment that I am finding it hard to express

it all… Edwin asked as he smiled, “Do you like it?” I smiled and nodded like

it?.. I love his efforts and his love… I love all of this..… I said as I can’t

stop smiling, “how can I not like this… this is more than perfect… I absolutely

love this”  he took my hand in his and

said to the family, “guys… today we will celebrate in name of our dear queen..

my only queen..” I smiled on his words.. he seemed to be very happy and proud…

I am really happy… I looked around as everyone cheer, friends and family

together.. and having a amazing evening, celebrating each other.. perfect…

      After few minutes, Edwin’s mom asked,

“well… but what is special.. we don’t know reason for this surprise party..”

she asked all of this with a smile.. but she has no idea.. neither do I… why

did Edwin arrange all this.. I really don’t know anything….

    Edwin’s dad asked as he looked at both of us, “Yes…. What is the

occasion..” I looked at Edwin as his hand is on my waist pulling me close to

him, he has a grin as he is the only one knowing why he planned this amazing

evening.... In mean time Alexis stretched his  hand to his grandpa, so Edwin’s Dad was holding Alexis in his arms.. and

Ernest is standing with Sofia and Noel… looked at his grandpa, who was asking

her son something..

   Edwin mom asked again being impatient, “Now tells us.. what is the occasion?”

Edwin smile and looked at me.. why is he looking at me?.. wait.. is he about

tell about that….no way.. I got nervous… I am not prepared for this reveal to

the family…..

   Edwin said as he grabbed my hand tighter in his, “We are going to have

twins soon… you are going to be grandparents again..” Edwin’s mom grasped as

she covered her mouth with her both hands,,,.. the next moment she hugged me in

her happiness.. so this was a surprise for celebrating the twins… I saw Edwin’s

dad laughing more….  And Edwin’s mom’s

happiness has no limit.. neither mine has… I am happy that my heart is

overflowing with it….

   Edwin’s mom separated from me and I see tears in her eyes.. oh! She is

so happy… Edwin’s mom grabbed my hand and said, “I am thankful for you…” I

smiled  and hugged her again… I hugged

her more… she is the sweetest and the best person I ever known… she is like the

mentor plus mother and mother-in-law who loves you like her own daughter… she

is a amazing women…

    Edwin mom then looked at Edwin and said, “you brat! You should have told

me earlier..” Edwin went speechless, she is always rude to him.. She is always

strict to him but I know she loves him more than herself, it’s her way to show

love to her son… he is her only son.. and she also loves her grandchildren..

she really loves all of her family.. she is just like me… and her anger and

complains to her son are just her way to express her love.. she love Edwin, he

is her only son, how can she not… anyways its nice to see Edwin getting

scolded….

    We were in the happy moment when we heard Ernest, “I am not sharing

anything with new babies.. they cry… scream and poop…” I looked at Ernest, I

didn’t expect that.. he was eating something and saying this, but instead of

worrying I found it cute.. he was competitive with Alexis too, but as he spend

time together, he keeps eye on Alexis, so he won’t get hurt.. Ernest is a good

brother..… but he is rude.. does he knows he is extremely rude right now….

Edwin’s mom laughed  and went to Ernest,

Edwin’s mom said with smile, “but you were also the same crying screaming baby

… I helped your mom to take care of you..” he looked away and said, “I was

not..” I chuckled.. well no one can win against grandma… she is the best…

   Edwin’s mom pinched his cheeks and said, “you were a baby, little

prince..  tiny and cute” Ernest looked at

his grandma and said, “Granny.. no.. they will laugh at me..”, he is acting

like a big boy, I smiled more. Edwin mom just said, “well.. everyone is a baby

some time… your dad was also a baby… I raised him..” Ernest looked at Edwin and

then at his mom.. he just said, “whatever” I laughed at him.. he got caught,

but he is cute though.. really cute..  he

though every time he can get away with this answers but his grandma is the

best… no one can defeat her… not even Edwin…. So there is no chance Ernest can

win against grandma not until they grow up.. but he have to wait for that… I

smiled at myself I found myself imagining  the future..

   The rest of the party was all good and happy… we cut a cake in

celebration and eat some good food, some good food, good music, romantic couple

dance and enjoyment.. perfect!…. Edwin’s mom wanted us to dance so we danced as

couples like we always do.. she asked to click lot of pictures.. I enjoyed

today.. I really did.. kids enjoyed it.. we enjoyed it.. this is all about us

being together.. all of us being together… it’s all fine and good till the

family is for each other and to love each other… love is all that needs to

create a family.. and today is one of the golden days to our memories..and we

will add many more….
