Chapter 17- Sus People

At last, the thing she feared for did come true.

Rae stands there, oblivious about anything happening around her. Before her mind decided to solve any theories, Kami speaks up.

"I hope I can get along well with everyone! Though, I already know some of you all..." He says and continues asserting.

Well, if she and Jae are getting outta this party, this is the time to do it. She makes her way to him sneakily, not wanting to grab anyone's attention.

"Hey hey, what's wrong?" Jae popped up, almost scaring her. She decides to ignore that and gets straight to the point.

"We are getting out of here. Right freaking now." Rae says and grabs his wrist and he replies with a small ouch, letting go of her hand.

"What? Calm down, there are CCTV cameras right above us." He speaks, keeping his cool, demented about Rae's almost scared and shocked expression. She wasn't like this usually.

"But....he's here!" Rae whiper shouts, with made them noticeable among everyone else. Those people stare them weirdly and go back to listening Kami speak. Well damn, Kami's speech was about to get over.

"He who?" Jae asks and that boils her up a bit, while he stands there completely clueless.

"That Min guy I told you about! My benchmate- yeah got it, let's get out then." Rae says and already gets an answer from him, which she is glad about. Jae didn't ask any more questions. He knew about him.

"So here's the plan, we go to the foods' corner pretending to order some snacks, which is just near the washroom. After that, we get out from the door beside the washroom." Rae says, unleashing her inner spy out. All that training she had ever since she was young paid off.

"The door beside the washroom is for exiting?" Jae questions. He totally loved it when Rae became all serious, it just gave him a fun spirit.

"Yeah, I saw a gang coming here from there not too long ago. This place haves alot of ways to enter as well as go. That workspace we came from is one of them." Rae answers. She observed the whole place carefully and came to that conclusion, and she is quite satisfied with it.

"Good. Let's go then. Also, remember not to be sus in front of the cameras." Jae says, adding a small warning just in case if Rae gets reckless.

The both of them make their way to get some snacks, trying to be as casual as ever. Funny, how you can't act to be yourself, when you do that most of the time.

Little did they know that someone has been observing every move they made.

"They are near the dining table, Sir." A guy says from the transmitter, hearing a chuckle from the other side.

"Let them be, remember, we need the girl~" Kami says and his lips curve to a small smirk.

He didn't wanted to spy on her.

He really didn't.

Even though Kami may appear quite careless about such matters, he respected her privacy. But he needed to do that today, it's partly her fault for acting so suspicious. He was thinking about all of this when someone shows up.

"Ahem, I may need to talk to you." Mr. Kim says to which Kami nods. His collaboration with the Kims was quite new, it might be about their buiseness and stuff. Mr. Kim leads him to a obscure room and closes the door. Well, seems like this stuff is confidential.

"It's about Aurelia." Mr. Kim speaks, shuffling his own tie a bit. For some reason, Kami felt nervous.

Did he find out he was spying on her right now? No way. But, he gussed Mr. Kim couldn't care less about that.

"Is it about the marriage? If so, you need not worry, I have already planned everything." Kami answers, biting his lower lip. He wanted to get over it already.

"Sir, they're exiting from one of the secret doors!" The guy speaks from the transmitter. Well, Rae really can't stay still. Kami didn't answer the guy, he could just do it later.

"Not that, it is just, you do know that marriage is about your whole life right? You are a different guy, you might or might not like Aurelia...and if you don't get along....the both of you may divorce." Mr. Kim says in an edgy tone.

"What the hell? Isn't he the one who proposed this marriage offer? Why is he talking about divorce now?!" Kami thinks to himself. He needs to marry her, or he won't get his way to the next head.

"About that sir...I am pretty sure it won't happen. I am quite interested in knowing her....so I guess everything is fine." Kami says and flashes a small (fake) smile, half ot that was true though.

"Ah...sure then, I will take my leave now." Mr. Kim greets him goodbye and Kami bows down. Finally. He turns the transmitter back on, and turns to go to the washroom.

"Ahem..I had to go for a bit. Do you know where are those two people now?" Kami asks, his voice hushed.

"No sir, I am really sorry about that, they left not long ago though." The guy replies almost immediately and Kami sighs.

"It's okay, leave them, you may enjoy this party now." Kami answers and gets a small thank you in response. He wasn't really shocked that Rae and his brother left this place, he was worried about other things.

Now that Rae had spotted him, shall he tell her about their contract-marriage? Or is it better to ignore her? If he does tell her, what if she tries to do something which can affect his position?

He does have to tell her sooner or later.....this might be the time.....
