Chapter 9- Dreams

"I don't want to listen any more excuses from you. Do as you are told to." Mr. Min says and glares at Kami.

"Why the fvck shall I marry someone who I didn't even know existed? Do I look like some toy with which you can play with?!" Kami answers back furiously. No way in heck he is selling himself just for his selfish dad.

"It's not as if you are marrying tomorrow itself, I am giving you like 5 months. And it's not a big deal, just marry her and then you are gonna get divorced anyway." His father tries to keep himself calm. He was losing his patience, he had been trying to convince him since weeks, but it's not like Kami ever answers him. The both of them never really talked ever since that incident years back.

"Marriage is obviously not a big deal for someone who cheated on his wife and slept with other women for who knows how long!" Kami stated facts, his father was a disrespect to him and his dead mother, he was ashamed to call himself a Min unlike most people who dreamt to be on his shoes. For a well know family, it sure had alot of secrets.

"MIN KAMI, WATCH YOUR WORDS." His father shouts at him. He couldn't stand being insulted by his own son. Yes, he admitted that he did wrong, but it was all because of his wife. He blamed her for that.

Mr. Min rubs his eyes, he was stressed out. They needed to get to know about the Kim's asap, it's already late.

"Fine, let's do a deal. As soon as you marry her, you will be enthroned as the next Mafia boss." He finally speaks.

Silence.

Kami's head filled a million thoughts. Ever since he entered into the dark side he dreamt of being the Mafia boss. His dream was calling him, but was he sure about it? Just because of him, someone innocent had to have her life ruined.

Wait Kami what are you thinking? Since when do you care about someone else? This world was heartless and to survive he would have to be selfish, his dream was just a few steps away. It's now or never.

"Deal."

RAE'S POV:

It's been 3 days. Three freaking days ever since that guy became my benchmate. No lies he is all smart and stuff but WHY DID HE HAVE TO SIT WITH ME?!

All of his fangirls hover over him as soon as lunch break starts, I got no space at that time. I mostly hang out with Aviva and Sehun, pretending as if his existence didn't really matter.

It's kinda surprising how Suho isn't seen ever since the new guy appeared. The both of them are related for sure. But I have a feeling they have that kind of relationship.You know boy's love isn't really uncommon these days......

Anyway, the nice thing was that the rumours related to me and Suho lessened. But there was still something wrong with people around me. They won't treat me normally. They treat me as if I am like.....special? I had some classwork left and the teacher punished another guy but left me like that? This school is suspicious.

"Yo, what's up?" Aviva asks casually as she saw me lost in thoughts.

"Nothing much, was thinking to call my older bro." I lied.

"Oh I remember something from that..." Aviva starts.

"Hm?" I hum in response

"I don't wanna seem creepy, but why did you choose a boarding school? Like I am sure you went to normal schools earlier." Aviva asks.

"Oh that....umm." I was unsure of what to say. Shall I tell her about it? Or will it be a waste of time? I just wanna complete my dreams and live a normal life.

"It's okay if you don't wanna talk about it, I understand." She answers with a small smile.

"Thanks...it's just that I need time."

Both Kami and Rae tend to own one thing- their dreams. Will they able to though?
