Chapter 13- Traitors

"Dummy, where were you?" Aviva scoffs, taking her eyes off the book in front of her as she saw Rae hurriedly opening the door and coming inside.

"Just n-no where." Rae nervously unpacks her back pack and and drinks a half full glass of water. Aviva glances at her actions suspiciously.

"Why are you stuttering? Something's off." Aviva asks her calmy, she thought that some idiot might have been bothering her or something at first, but no Rae didn't stutter normally.

"Uh..maybe cause I ran fast and am tired?" Rae gives her an unconvincing smile and Aviva just shrugs it off.

"Fine, I won't bother you, tell me when you feel like it." Aviva says and goes back to reading her book, unaware of the drama that happened sometime earlier. Rae lets out a sigh.

Rae was purely embarrased though, Kami almost caught her, she still wasn't sure if he was talking in sleep or what. Did he have a dream of being some buiseness man or something?

"Who cares about that though." Rae speaks in her mind, trying to forget everything.

"I am taking a small nap." Rae says to Aviva, getting a small hum in response from her.

-----------in the school garden----------

Kami lays down at his previous position, still muddled about the whole matter. Was he dreaming or what? Surely no one would dare to enter that garden, so who was that? He lays awake and still sleepy, he didn't sleep properly since 3 days as he was busy preparing for the upcoming functions.

There was some stupid party or stuff, it was a grand party just for the sake of doing illegal buiseness purposes. Many leaders like his dad usually host such parties as they think its a good way to show off their position and also strengthen their frienship.

But which kind of friendship? It's more like enemies. There is just betrayal and blood in their so-called frienship, but their aim is the same.

Get on the top.

That has been Kami's aim ever since the start. Being selfish works, no friends, no family and no love. Nothing to worry about and nothing to stop him either.

He did use to have one best friend though. But now? Nope.

He sighs, not wanting to remember the memories again and dozes off to sleep.

--------Suho's place-------

The mysterious guy from earlier sat down and sips from his bitterly cold drink of wine, unbothered about the mess he was creating. He had alot of fun seeing all the drama happening with no one suspecting him.

He chuckled to himself and hears his phone ring. He takes his phone out from his pocket to see who was calling him and after seeing his phone screen, he picks it up without any hesitation.

"Aha, look who's calling." The guy speaks with a hoarse voice, in a sort of a teasing way.

"Cut the crap. Tell me what is happening." The guy on the other side of the call sounded frustrated and restless.

"Aish, so agitated, lemme tell you then~" The first man responses back with a smug tone.

"Well you know Min Kami and Kang Suho were best freinds earlier right?" The guy starts and slowly reveals the whole story.

"Suho was just the same as him, with a dark past and wanting to have everything in life. Their interests matched which resulted in them being good friends." The guy speaks in a bored tone, making the man on the other side more eager.

"The marriage of Kami and Rae was planned before Rae intended to come to the school. Her sudden action of switching places resulted to a mess. Kami had to repeat school for the sake of knowing her and getting her to like him or sorta stuff. Which he found highly annoying and that gave him a reason to not like her. (A/N: lemme reveal his age, he is 19 y/o)" He goes on.

"Suho knew about this from the start, he first pitied Kami but then his jealousy kicked inside."

"If Kami married her, he would be on ths top of his gang. The person who gets respected by everyone and the next leader. Even though he could partner up with Kami still he wanted the position to all to himself." He says and an inadubile noise is heard from the other side.

"He told the whole school about the Kim family, which caused a huge hiatus. The Kims have always been known for their excellence in almost every lead. Be it studies, sports, art, entertaiment purposes and such. It is said that the heir of the Kims always posseses a talent which is to be treasured. Rumours also say that the Kims have been blessed by an old sage or stuff." The guy exclaims.

"The same happened with Rae though, she got the talent of writing, her brother is excellent in studies and also had a hidden talent- dance."

"As the whole school now knew about the Kims, they started treating Rae as a new royal fellow who meant some serious buisness. Suho's plan was to make her fall for him so he could be the one being claimed as the boss." The guy on the other side was shocked as he knew too much.

"But Rae wasn't that easy. She is smart unlike other girls, she didn't go for looks just so easily. I know her well, but I couldn't say anything or that Suho would start to suspect me." He says and could hear the other guy sighing.

"So Suho basically failed?" The other guys asks as he listened everything, still confused.

"Yeah, we could say that. Kami is getting married to her soon so Suho failed." The guy speaks in a satisfied and dramatic tone.

"Do you really think of this as a joke huh? You are actually playing with both of the sides!" The other guy seemed a little mad. He can't believe that he is just breaking their trust for his own pleasure.

"Ah, it's common in here buddy, it will be boring the other way, won't it be hm?" The guy goes on, quite pleased with his own sharpness.

"You'll pay for it though. Kami isn't to be messed up with, not to mention that Suho is there too now." The other guy warns him, he internally wished for them to get the traitor out.

"We'll see." Was all he heard from him and then the call ends.
