Chapter 3- Rejected

"Kim Aurelia, I like you." These words were on repeat in Rae's mind. How can someone who she didn't even know, that too the moment she enters the boarding school just confess thier love for her?

Everything felt so fake at the moment, she tried not to think about it but the more she tried, the more she ended up thinking about it.

"Damn, all of this isn't gonna get me anywhere, let me just call Jae." Rae says to herself.

She picks up her phone and sees a missed call. From Min.

"I- what does he want......" Rae thinks to herself.

"Maybe...I will just call him later...." She mumbles and dials Jae's number.

"Hello? Rae!! Did you reach there? How is school?" Jae starts as soon as she called him.

"Gosh, wait, yep I reached and the school is good too...." She says.

"That sounds sus. Something happened?" Jae asks. He was correct, Rae can never hide anything from him.

"Actually, yes." Rae says.

-some hours before-

Rae stands dumbfounded in front of the unknown guy who just confessed. Aviva is as shocked as Rae. Shen looked like he knew him. People were cheering for them. Looks like the guy who confessed was some big shot there.

"Umm....are you serious? Or is this a prank on newbies?" Rae starts awkwardly.

"I am totally serious, I like you, I fell for you ever since I saw you." The guy starts spouting cheesy stuff (according to author)

Aviva could see jealous glares from the girls around them. It seems like a bad year ahead. She whispers to Rae:

"**Hey, can we get outta here? I am getting bad vibes cause I dunno that."

"What wait, how am I supposed to handle this? Help me**!" Rae whisper shouts.

"Just refuse him. We don't even know this guy. I feel bad for him though." Aviva says.

"Um....fine uh." Rae lets out a sigh.

"Can you answer me?" The guy looked at Rae.

"Uh- I am sorry but- I don't know you...sorry I can't be with you...." Rae stutters.

"WHAT?! DID SHE JUST REJECT THE KANG SUHO?!" A girl shouts out of nowhere. Everyone start whisper to themselves.

"I rejected- um I don't even know him." Rae starts.

"So what?! He is our IDOL, you should be honoured that he asked you out!" Another girl says.

"Leave it, she is from the Kim family, what can we even do?" The first girl says.

"What does this have to do with her family?!" Aviva speaks up while Rae turns around to see Suho's reaction.

"Well, you should be happy I asked you, our familys quite matched." Suho says. He didn't seem heartbroken though.

He walks past her and before he passed her, he whispered something in her ear:

"You made the wrong choice, now you are gonna have a hard year ahead, don't blame me."

Rae was confused at his words. Are the girls gonna turn into the evil purple hairs in comics? She nervously bit her lip.

"Rae, let's go, we don't got any buiseness here anymore." Aviva says and drags her into her dorm, well we don't forget the stares though.

-current time-

"Well, that was all." Rae says.

"What the-" Jae stops and starts laughing.

"It's not funny." Rae scoffs at him.

"Sorry hehe. But I still don't get it. I don't remember our family doing some great stuff or anything. Did the people misunderstand you there?" He says.

"I don't know either....well anyway leave it." Rae says.

"Uh huh...I will go now...if something happens tell me and take care, bye." Jae says.

Rae greets him good night and gets lost in thoughts again. She had a good relationship with her brother, he would always help her and knew everything about her. He was the best brother she could ask for.

"Uh...I gotta call Min too...." Rae says to herself.

She dials his number and waits for the him to pick it up.

"Hello?"
