Location: Forest Perimeter
The morning sun pierced through the dense canopy of trees as the officers gathered at the forest's edge. The air was fresh, carrying the earthy scent of moss and wood. Taehyung stood among the higher-ups, his posture straight and composed, though his mind was already calculating the possibilities this forest could offer.
General Song Joong Ki
(adjusting his hat): “The forest is larger than I expected. How do you plan to survey it all without causing disturbance, Captain Kim?”
Captain Kim Taehyung
(calmly): “We’ll divide the area into zones and assign small teams to each section. Detailed mapping and observation will guide the planning. We’ll focus on adaptability rather than alteration.”
Hyun Bin nodded approvingly, his sharp eyes scanning the treetops.
General Hyung Bin
“Interesting approach. It minimizes environmental impact, but it’s a daunting task. Do you believe your team can handle it?”
Captain Kim Taehyung
(firmly): “I trust my officers. They’re capable and determined. We’ll adapt, no matter the challenges.”
The group moved deeper into the forest, their boots crunching against the underbrush. As they walked, Taehyung pointed out various potential training spots—natural clearings for combat drills, dense thickets for navigation practice, and rocky inclines perfect for endurance challenges.

(gesturing to a rocky outcrop): “This area could be used for climbing exercises. It provides a realistic scenario for high-altitude missions.”
Park Seo-joon
(nodding): “Not bad. But what about safety precautions? We can’t afford injuries during training.”
Captain Kim Taehyung
“Safety will always be the priority. We’ll establish secure routes and have medical teams on standby during every drill.”
The conversation continued as they explored, with the higher-ups occasionally offering suggestions or raising concerns.
Elsewhere in the forest, Yoongi led a group of officers, his sharp gaze taking in every detail of their surroundings. Jimin walked beside him, occasionally glancing at the recruits to ensure they stayed in line.

(calling out): “Keep your formation tight! The forest isn’t just a training ground—it can be a battlefield. Stay alert!”
Yoongi and his group continued to explore another part of the forest. The officers followed his sharp commands, their focus unwavering as they noted potential locations for various drills.
Yoongi’s sharp gaze scanned the terrain as they walked deeper into the woods. Beside him, Jimin kept up, occasionally casting curious glances at the surroundings.

(gruffly): “Spread out and survey the area thoroughly. I want every detail documented.”
As the group proceeded, the faint sound of rushing water reached their ears. Yoongi’s brows furrowed in curiosity. He gestured for the team to follow the sound, leading them to a hidden waterfall cascading into a clear lake.
Park Jimin (Second Lieutenant)
(eyes widening): “This place is incredible. It could be perfect for physical endurance drills.”
Yoongi nodded in agreement, silently appreciating the serene beauty of the location.
Min Yoongi (commanding officer)
(to a junior officer): “Go inform the others. They need to see this spot.”
The officer saluted and hurried off, leaving Yoongi and Jimin with a few others by the lake.
As the officers relaxed momentarily, Jimin wandered closer to the water’s edge, mesmerized by its clarity. He crouched to touch the surface, but the slippery rocks beneath his boots betrayed him.
Park Jimin (Second Lieutenant)
(startled): “Ah—!”
He slipped, losing his balance and tumbling into the cold lake. A sharp rock grazed his knee, drawing blood, and the sudden impact twisted his ankle painfully. The deeper waters pulled him under momentarily, leaving him gasping.
Without hesitation, Yoongi dived in after him, his instincts sharp and precise.
Min Yoongi (commanding officer)
(firmly): “Jimin, hold on!”
As Yoongi, the commanding officer reached him in seconds, pulling Jimin up and supporting his weight as they swam toward the shore.
Once on solid ground, Yoongi helped Jimin sit, his sharp eyes immediately spotting the blood seeping from his subordinate’s knee.
Min Yoongi (commanding officer)
(authoritatively): “Stay still. Let me check your injuries.”
Park Jimin (Second Lieutenant)
(grimacing): “It’s just a scratch. I can—”
Min Yoongi (commanding officer)
(cutting him off): “You’re not walking anywhere with that ankle. It’s swollen, and your knee’s bleeding heavily.”
Turning to the other officers, Yoongi barked out an order.
Min Yoongi (commanding officer)
“I’m taking Lieutenant Park back to base. Inform Captain Kim, tell him not to worry much and the details about the condition.”
Min Yoongi (commanding officer)
“Stay here and wait for the others. Keep this area secure. I’ll be back once Jimin is treated.”
The officers nodded, and Yoongi wasted no time. He lifted Jimin effortlessly, ignoring the younger officer’s protests.
Park Jimin (Second Lieutenant)
(awkwardly): “I can manage—”
Min Yoongi (commanding officer)
(flatly): “Stop arguing. You’re in no condition to manage anything.”
As Yoongi carried him through the forest, Jimin sighed, a faint blush coloring his cheeks.
Meanwhile, Taehyung and the higher-ups arrived at the lake. The serene beauty of the waterfall seemed almost otherworldly, but Taehyung’s sharp gaze was already analyzing its potential.

(impressed): “This is quite a find, Captain Kim. What do you suggest for this area?”
Captain Kim Taehyung
“The depth needs to be measured, and the water tested for safety. We’ll also need to ensure no dangerous animals reside here. Once cleared, it can be used for endurance swimming and water rescue training.”
The officers nodded, murmuring their agreement. General Song Joong Ki approached Taehyung, his tone thoughtful.

As the officers dispersed to inspect the area further, a junior officer approached Taehyung, his expression grave.
Back at the lake, Taehyung stood with the higher-ups, little distance afar looking at the site with the focused gaze. When officer Kang approached him with a calculative motive.

(saluting): “Captain Kim, reporting as ordered. Commanding Officer Min has taken Lieutenant Park back to base. His injuries required immediate attention.”
Captain Kim Taehyung
(voice controlled but firm): “Did Officer Min provide further details about the injuries?”
Kang Tae-oh
“Yes, sir. Lieutenant Park’s knee injury was significant, and his ankle was swollen. Commanding Officer Min stated it wasn’t life-threatening but required medical care.”
Taehyung’s expression tightened, a flash of concern crossing his face.
Captain Kim Taehyung
(calmly, but with urgency): “Thank you for informing me. Return to your post and ensure the rest of the group is accounted for.”
As the officer left, Taehyung turned back toward the lake, his thoughts racing. He wanted to leave immediately to check on Jimin, but his responsibilities anchored him to the higher-ups.

(to himself): “Jimin will be fine. Yoongi is with him. Focus, Taehyung. There’s still work to do here.”
Taking a deep breath, he composed himself and rejoined the group, his mind already planning how to balance the demands of the mission with his concern for his comrades.

(noticing Taehyung’s silence): “Captain Kim, everything alright?”

(masking his concern): “Yes, sir. Just strategizing for the next steps.”
The general nodded, seemingly satisfied, and Taehyung redirected his focus, though his mind remained preoccupied.
The group moved closer to the water, where Taehyung suggested an assessment of the lake’s depth and potential hazards.

As the group continued their discussion, Taehyung stood slightly apart, his gaze fixed on the tranquil lake. Despite his composed exterior, his thoughts remained with Jimin.
