I don’t remember falling asleep but I did. Everything is over by the time I wake up, everyone but the employees have left. “Miss Choi, please wake up.” My secretary hovers over me trying to wake me up. “Ah, I’m sorry, I don’t remember falling asleep.” “It’s okay Miss Choi everyone is wondering what to do now.” I hate to say this but I don't want to have people working after such a tragic event. “Due to the current circumstances of Chicago, you all are given a 2 week leave to recover mentally. I hope to see you all bright and happy in 2 weeks.

“Thank you, Miss Choi,” everyone said at the same time. With that said people begin to leave. “So what are your plans during this two-week break you set up love?” Ace sat next to me. “I don’t know, I was hoping I could get to know you better since we are in a relationship.” Ace smiles, his smiles always seem to make me smile. “Well let’s head to my house then,” He says. I've never been there, he’s always coming to my house.

He carries me to the car so I don’t hurt my ankle more than I already have. I don’t try to fight him anymore. Sitting me in his car. Ling, his guard whom I met after our first date, is driving. “Hello, Miss Choi. It has been a long time since we first met hasn’t it?” I can’t help but smile and notice an unfamiliar face on the passenger side in front of me. “Yes it has been, Ling, right? And who is this next to you Ling?” He smiles, “This is my younger brother, John. He’s in training to be a security guard.” The sky seemed darker than usual. If not for the people who once lived here many years ago and turned the place into one of the smoke factories of the country our skies would be even bluer than they are today. Without realizing it I find myself staring at Ace. His defined jawline, his long but yet amazing hair. His hair has grown really since we first met.

“Like what you see Miss Choi?” He giggles, teasing me. “Oh, honey look at you drooling!” Damn! I was drooling over him! I quickly wipe it away. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I would never!” His chuckle rings through the car. The air feels cool in the car. “So what does The king of Caged Dragon like to do in his free time?” He just smiled. “I shoot guns at a range every now and then.” “Sounds like fun.” I can’t help but smile because looking at him and learning about him makes me happy.

“I also like your smile,” His hand gently grazes my cheek. My cheeks feel warm. “W-what do you like about it?” I find myself stuttering on my words. “The way your perfect raven eyes sparkle. The way your dimples make it’s way on your face while your lips move up. The way you blush while smiling, it’s beautiful.” His hand rests on my cheek as his lips meet mine. The feel of his lips is soft, yet sweet. His lips gently bite on my lower lip. He pulls back making sure things didn’t get too heated. The car ride was rather long, for most of the ride, I looked out the window.

His house is the biggest I’ve ever seen. “Welcome to the Ackerman house” he smiles. “Hmm, Ackerman? Ace Ackerman?” “Yup that’s me, love.” He wraps his arms around me and holds me like that. “How would you like about moving in here?”
