With that said, I stand and walk away. Despite my feet being in grave pain and my legs nearly collapsing, I continue to walk. I do not feel shame for what I said to him, I merely told him the truth.  I can not stand puppy love. His voice calls out for me but I ignore it. I can’t stand his innocence around me. “Yumi Please wait!” All I can do is walk away. Crossing a street, so dangerous, I could care less. If they hit me, it will be fine. My company will not fall into the hands of my father though. I message my assistant to make sure my will includes, “The Recording City Entertainment company will not fall into the hands of Yong-Cheol Choi.” My father.

Tripping and falling, strong arms wrap around my waist stopping me from hitting the ground. “Yumi! Please, listen to me!” Ace holds me in his arms. “Ace, I don’t want to hear it.” I am tired and ready to go home. “If you listen to me, I will do as you wish.” Does he really mean it? I don’t believe it. “Please just listen to me.”  I can’t help but give in, “Fine but you don’t have to do what I want, I don’t care.” I let out a long sigh. “I want to date you, get to know you. I won’t do it if you don’t want me to.”

Ace’s face is rather close to mine, I can feel his hot warm breath against my cheeks. Heat rushes through my flesh and skin. My cheeks feel extremely warm. I don’t know what's happening. Why do I feel this way when his face is close to mine. His light rosey lips look soft. What should I do? The air around me is cold but his body makes me warm. His face comes closer to mine. I can’t help but notice the puddle next to us. The dim lights of  a car getting ready to pass by. Without thinking I stand in front of the puddle and force him into a kiss so he doesn’t get distracted by the car and water. His lips are warm and ever so sweet. A cold chill runs down my spine. My dress is soaked, but not a single drop landed on him.

“Why would you do that?!” His face instantly filled with concern and blush. He puts his hand to his lips and looks as if I accepted him liking me. “I didn’t want you getting sick.” Despite being wet, and having sprained my ankle, I still walk home. I don’t want to bother Gunther with picking me up and getting water all over the car. Rain begins to fall and once again Ace is calling my name. The rain drops loudly. I am completely soaked by the rain. For some reason Rain always satisfied me. I love hearing the satisfying sound of rain drops hitting a metal roof.

As Ace catches up to me, I can’t stop him this time. “Yumi! Please let me take you home.” I can’t help but give in, I’m tired and in pain. “Fine.” My body collapses against his. “It hurts..” His arms swoop around my legs and across my back. My feet are lifted off the ground. “Your ankle won’t heal if you keep walking on it like that.” My face feels hot. Am I running a fever? His chest makes my body feel warm. I can't stop myself from saying anything else, “I Love you.” I don’t know why I said it but I did. He sets me in the car and places one hand against my forehead. “Do you have a fever? Do I need to take you to a hospital?” “N-No i'm fine”  I stumble on my words. It makes it seem like I’m lying to him.

He chuckles, “Little girl you dare lie to me?” I shake my head. I didn’t lie, I have no reason to lie. “Ok good.” He hops in the driver's seat after buckling me in, drives off away from downtown. He drives so fast my body begins to ache. “S-slow-” I can’t even make words with my body aching like it is. He looks back in confusion. When he looks back, his face is the last thing I see before everything goes black. His defined jaw, those piercing silver eyes that make you think their knives staving into you if you stare at them long enough. His fluffy dark grey hair.

The world I see is nothing but a blacky dark abyss. Where am I? This is no happy ending. I can still feel the pain in my body. It hurts and I don’t know what will happen. I feel so cold, What should I do? The blacky abyss doesn’t feel so black anymore, stars have appeared around me. It’s like I am in the universe, the centerpiece of it all.

When I wake up, I am no longer in the car but ace is still with me. He looks sad while he currently is asleep. I spot the dark circles under his eyes. My body no longer hurts like it did before but I am not in the clothes I was wearing last. Who changed me? I attempt to sit up, doing my best not to wake Ace up as he is resting his head on my bed. Mission failed. As soon as he sees that I’m awake he hugs me and says, “A nurse changed you out of your wet clothes.” I smile and giggle, the fact that he said that first brings me joy.

“It’s ok, I figured.” My smile feels so big.  His lips gently meet mine, “will you be my girlfriend?” “May I ask what do you like about me? And why Me?” He smiles, “Your brave, smart, beautiful and if you make something it isn’t taken from you with ease. When I first met you, I really just wanted to apologize for trampling you, but then I learned more about you and I just fell in love with you.” My heart begins to race, the monitor picks it up. “Are you ok?!” I smile, “That is the sweetest and nicest thing anyone has ever said to me.” Water begins to blur my vision as tears run down my cheeks.
