Chapter 2

A strong muscular hand covers my mouth, “little lady don’t try and scream your way out of this.” I am pulled back into the alley. I feel and sharp, hard object bang against my head. This is it, this is where it all ends. I can still hear though. Loud shouting.. Who is there? After a few minutes the shouting stopped. During those few minutes and I heard several gunshots, and a helicopter. I can’t feel much either.

By the time I have opened my eyes a month has already passed. “Your awake miss choi” a man whom I’ve never seen before stand before me. “Who are you?” I stare up at him. “My name is Ling Yoi, I work for mr. Ace. He asked me to keep an eye on you.” Ace asked him to keep an eye on me?? “I am Mr. Ace’s security guard.” He has his own security guard?! “Well I am fine now,” I say realizing I am in a hospital bed and have blood being put in my body. “Miss choi you have been in the hospital for almost a month now. You are not fine,” the doctor says as he walks in my room.

“What happened?” “Attempted robbery and murder.” That explains why I felt something sharp and hard hit my head. They wanted to murder me and take my stuff but something stopped them. The question for me is what stopped them? “Mr. Da- I mean Ace asked me to watch you, when I couldn’t find you I searched different alleys and found you after they already hit you. I am sorry I didn’t get there in time.” I sigh, “Its ok, I am fine now.” As I say that Ace walks in. “My dear! How are you feeling?! Have they said when they will release you?” Throwing questions at me already huh?

“I have a slight headache but I am fine. No they did not say when I would be released.” He immediately ordered someone to get me a glass of water and some medicine. “We only went on one date and you already care so much? I can take care of myself.” He gave me a cold glaze. “Your in the hospital because you can’t defend yourself, you can’t take care of yourself.” I pout, he just should me up. I stand up and the doctor takes the tube pumping blood in me off. “You can go home now Miss choi.” I call my driver to bring me a change of clothes and to take me home.

“There are alot of things you don’t know about me ace.” I get up and change. “Yumi! Wait!” I sigh and turn around. “Please call me Miss choi and don’t talk to me ever again!” With that I leave. “Miss choi, everything with the new building is coming along nicely they started on putting the floors in last week.” I look down at my phone. “Thank you Gunther.” My mom text me, she needs money again. “Gunther take me by the building please, I want to see it for myself.” I arrive to find the building nothing like what it was before. “Miss they have been waiting for you.” “who?” “Master choi.”

I nearly drop my phone but come back to my senses before I do. “What. does. He. Want?” Gunther gives me a worried expression from the rearview mirror. “He wanted to see how you are doing.” “when we get there I want you and Bea to leave.” Father hates me and normally comes to see me with a not so happy reason. Bea is my maid and cook. I never learned how to cook and I don’t have time to do anything. I blame my father on not knowing how to cook, he was always making me learn other things. He forced me to attend the top schools. I was always forced to work.

Once we arrive Bea and Gunther leave. “Father or do I even have the right to call you that?” We give each other a cold stare. “You do not have the right to call me father call me Mr. Choi.” He hates me. “Well Mr. Choi what can I help you with?” “I want you to give me the company when everything settles down.” “I am sorry I can not do that, I have started this company. I most certainly won’t let it get taken away from me.” He Gives me the death stare. “You will or this place is no longer yours.” “Try me, take it away and I will live somewhere else. I don’t care but you don’t get to take my stuff from me.”

It’s not going to be like what happened before. He took nearly everything from me before, and even almost took my Youtube channel from be but luckily I was able To get it back. “Ok have it your way, but I will destroy you and everything you love. You think last month accident was bad, oh the you got another thing coming to you.” I knew last month was no accident, he set me up for that. “Get out of my house, I don’t want to see you near here ever again!” He grabs my arms and pins me to the wall. “Sweetheart just remember I am not your real father. I am very capable of killing you.”

Before anything happens I kick him off me and the fight begins. “Woman! You dare defy me! “
