Episode 54

Antony and Ted Bowie let Noah lie unconscious on the floor as they talked.

"I understand. So, your boss asked me to buy the Fargo family's belongings and sell them to you, right?"

Old Ted nodded. "Yes, that's the plan. Are you interested?"

Antony Reyes stroked his chin, looking thoughtful, but then shook his head.

"No, I don't think I'm interested in this game."

Ted Bowie sighed heavily and let it go. As he had suspected before, the man in front of him was not easy.

But of all the Networks in Silverstone, if there was anyone he could trust, it was this man.

Antony Reyes was his commander when they were both Marines; unlike Ted Bowie, who started his network with the Sanders family, Antony built his own network.

Countless times his former commander tried to pull him away from the Sanders family to join his network.

However, for Ted Bowie himself, loyalty was non-negotiable. Old Ted even refused Antony Reyes's request when the Sanders family's network was destroyed.

"All right, Antonio. I guess there's nothing I can do if you've said so, right?"

Antony Reyes nodded and immediately shook his head. "You know I'll help you personally. But when it comes to the Network, every family has principles. You are one of the people I trust to uphold those principles."

Ted Bowie shrugged. "Well, you're right. I'm sorry for wasting your time."

As Ted Bowie was about to stand up, Antony suddenly stopped him. When he brought up the issue of principles, he felt there was something wrong here.

"Ted, wait a minute. ... You've always refused to join me. But you're willing to join a new Network. Of course, I know you have a grudge against the Fargo family, but I know you're not that simple."

Ted Bowie nodded. "Yes, I have my own reasons."

Ted Bowie's response did not satisfy his curiosity. "I can help you destroy Fargo if you want, but now you're working for a coward who hides in the darkness and proudly calls himself The Ghost. This doesn't make sense."
