Episode 12

At CrystalSky, Noah found himself awaited by several people. Two individuals were strangers to him. Yet, he did not pay much attention to this.

Jade was somewhat surprised because Noah had brought her to a club that appeared immensely large.

Upon their arrival, many greeted Noah with respects.

Now, the girl waited in a room, as Noah left her to enter another room to handle his business there.

"Does Noah know the owner of this place?" she pondered silently.

In the room, Noah was expected by Alice, Antonius, Alex, and others.

"Noah, allow me to introduce Mr. Albert Hall. He will be the head of your company's legal team from now on. And this, the state's chief of police, Mr. Gabe Carter," Alice made the introductions.

Noah had prior acquaintance with Albert Hall. His law firm was renowned in Silverstone. As for Gabe, his presence, the highest-ranking police officer in the state, was a surprise to Noah.

"Hello, Mr. Hall and Mr. Carter. I am Noah," he greeted them cordially.

"Mr. Evans, you need not be overly formal with us. Just call us by our names. After all, we'll be working under you from this point forth."

Noah was taken aback. He indeed intended to build a business network but hadn't foreseen enlisting such a high-caliber lawyer and a senior police officer as his subordinates.

"Understood. I'll remember that."

"Mr. Evans, this is Mr. Harry representing the shareholders of DevilHill."

"Hello, Mr. Harry,” greeted Noah.

Now, Noah realized there was no turning back. With these five's presence, it signified that Noah officially became the head of a new mafia business network set to monopolize various sectors in Silverstone.

He was pleased with the work of Alice, Antonius, and Alex. However, Noah also knew he needed to maintain his dignity.

In front of his subordinates, he had to appear slightly more mature, despite his youth.

It seemed that enhancing his Sensing and Intuition lead Noah to feel he was on the right track with his current enterprises.

"Mr. Evans. Here are several documents you need to address."

"Alright."

As Noah was about to sign, he glanced at the header on the documents. Two words brought a smile to his face.

World Order. The name of his investment company, which Alice had thoughtfully chosen, fit perfectly with his vision and mission—to establish a World Order with Bell, his system.

Harry, representing former shareholders of DevilHill, had been astounded by Noah's method of payment for the acquired shares.

Before leaving, Harry joked about wanting to work under Albert Hall, a sentiment to which Noah showed no objection.

Once finished, Alice reported that World Order had taken control of several shopping centers and main street businesses in Silverstone.

World Order also became the sole proprietor of the largest entertainment and business hub in Silverstone and Goldwin state, DevilHill.

Noah realized that despite being a new and dominant force in Silverstone, World Order only controlled about forty percent of the city's business.

To truly dominate and counter any competitors, World Order needed to control all of Silverstone.

It was not an overnight task but could be accelerated. Finance was not an issue, so Noah just needed the right opportunities.

The headquarters of World Order would be in DevilHill's grandest building, where everything would be monitored and controlled.

Noah wanted to inquire more about the place, but he was not alone at the moment. Jade was waiting, likely very hungry by now.

"Alright, this seems in order. You might already be aware, but I wish to reiterate a single condition, which must never be breached by anyone," he told the five firmly.

They all nodded in understanding—it was an agreement not to question his remarkably substantial financial resources.

Afterwards, Noah departed, leaving the five behind.

"Alice, are we sure our boss is only twenty?" Antonius asked again.

"Yes, possibly not even a full twenty," confirmed Alice.

"Honestly, I've dealt with many a business mafia family. But Mr. Evans has an aura that exerts a pressure unlike others, even at his young age," added Gabe.

"Yes, I share that sentiment. It appears we are following someone with a dangerously impressive background."

Albert Hall, having faced a multitude of cases and people, had initially been curious about Antonius's movements. However, his interest piqued further upon seeing Noah transfer thirty billion dollars through his phone without so much as a blink and add another twenty billion for World Order's development reserves.

What astonished them more was Noah leaving such grand affairs behind for a lunch date.

They all agreed—following Noah was the right step in ascending further.

Jade looked at Noah, filled with questions. She had thought him a simple good-natured youth.

But now, she felt he harbored many secrets unknown even to his friends.

As they left CrystalSky, though not clearly seeing, Jade observed the respectful treatment Noah received from the five who were evidently not ordinary folk.

Yet, with such a background, Noah seemed very comfortable dining here.

Noah took Jade to eat at the restaurant where he first activated his system, Bell. For some reason, he dined here almost daily since that day.

"Jade... Why are you looking at me that way? Is there something wrong with my face?"

"No! ... It's not that. I'm just happy to realize I've found my first friend in this city," Jade quickly responded.

"I'm also glad to be your friend," Noah smiled back.

The day passed, and their lunch extended into the evening. Noah now escorted Jade back to campus.

"Noah, if you don't mind, I can always be your girlfriend!"

"Hahahha... Sounds good, I'm happy to be your boyfriend," Noah jovially responded as he departed, leaving Jade at the women's dormitory, waving off her playful remark.

"Truly an interesting young man."

Jade seemed deeply intrigued by Noah. As she closed her dorm door, a smile persisted on her face. For now, she had gained a good and incredibly intriguing friend.
