Episode 30

"Noah ... How are you?"

Noah looked slightly puzzled at Jade's arrival with Leyton. Although they had only just met a few days ago, he didn't think Jade was the type of girl to get close to a guy like Leyton. But now, it seemed he was wrong.

"Hey, I'm good."

"Well, of course you're good. And even better when lying."

"Leyton ... What do you mean?"

Layton ignored Henry, still staring at Noah. "Do you really believe him when he says he can take you to DevilHill?"

"Is that true? ... This is very surprising."

Today felt extremely complete. Leyton wasn't the only one. Now there was one more guy making the atmosphere even worse.

Greg and Lucy arrived. As promised, the two guys seemed very close.

"Greg, what else do you want?"

"Yo, Noah. Is this your campus? Why are you asking as if I shouldn't be here?"

Noah's mood was truly sour right now. But he felt like a loser if he were to leave.

"Well, it's up to you."

"Look at that, he can't even answer. Hahahhaha..."

Noah's other three friends also felt uncomfortable with the situation.

First, Lucy was Noah's ex. The campus knew what happened between them and it wasn't a good memory.

Second, Jade. She went viral for holding hands with Noah on her first day on campus. But now all eyes were on her and Leyton.

"Noah, you may deceive your friends, but lying has its limits. Now, you have no shame."

Niah took a deep breath and let it out. "So, tell me where I lied. I don't feel like deceiving my friends."

"Hahahahha...Alright, you don't want to admit it, huh?...Okay then. As luck would have it, the four of us will be going there tonight. So, if you can really take them there, then prove it. If not, well...I guess...as usual. Losers remain losers."
