Carry You

It was almost sunset when they returned to the outskirts of the village. Serfred and Tycho observed Athena whilst she inspects the different empty lands.

As they reached the village, it surprised the villagers to see them bring two whole deer and some other animals with them.

When they reached Diana's home.

Athena quickly went inside to check if everything was fine, "Diana are you alright?"

"I'm fine, no worries." she smiled whilst continuing stirring on the enormous pot of soup.

"So you're planning to feed the entire village." Tycho said, which brought tears to his eyes as he realized the girl intention to help the village. He then wipes his tears seeing Diana was walking towards him.

"I know you don't trust her, but trust me, I know she'll help us all…" Diana comforted the man as she wipes the remaining tears on his face.

Athena ignored the couple as she headed to the back of the house to check on the grounds she worked on last night. Seeing that the sprout did not die means she really did restore the land back.

Serfred who decided to follow Athena was surprised to see the fresh growing seedlings on the ground, "Did you do this?"

Athena did not answer the man but smiled pleased with the result of her work.

...How is this even possible? Isn't Athena a Healer? How is she able to use magic as well to restore the lands? Is she by chance an Alchemist then but only Divine Healers can restore broken parts?

Serfred ignored how Athena is capable of doing all sorts of magic, as he had one important question to ask her. "So what do you plan?"

"First will feed the people…" she replied

...Athena sighed, This won't be easy. The amount of food we gather is good until tomorrow. The day after that we need to gather more food again since there are quite a lot of people in the village. I might ask the church to help prepare and distribute the food.

Once they are fed. Tycho can ask some of the men to assist him in restoring the house since it's almost autumn and winter soon. At the same time, Serfred can train some of the men to help us gather some supplies.

That evening, everyone gathers around the village center as the church and Diana distribute the food to everyone.

At the same time, Athena was able to make some potions which she distributed to those badly wounded and ensured the rest that she'll help them as well.

Athena was seating a distance away from everyone as she watches how full of life everyone was after a full meal.

*...In the end, Diana*'s grandfather was appointed as the village chef since I declined the offer. Plus, he knows everyone in the village. I also explained to everyone my plan in how we can restore the village. I appointed different people different task leaving Tycho and Serfred as the head leader of each group of men. Whilst leaving Diana in charge of the woman and children.

"Everyone we can do this."

Athena who stood away from everyone with Fuji by his side watched as the Chief continue to explain everything, it pleased Athena to finally see a small spark of life in everyone's eyes.

Behind one of the torn-down houses, a man was watching everything from a far. He wondered what was happening and why the village was suddenly full of life. As he continued to observe, he sensed that someone has noticed his presence; he covered his head with his hood as he walked away. Disappearing through the night.

Athena focused her attention towards the direction Fuji was growling at. She wondered who the person could be that Fuji seems to be agitated.

"My lady, are you alright?" Serfred approached her and seated by her side.

"I'm fine, I was just resting for a bit."

Serfred removed his cape as he wrapped it around the girl's shoulder, "It's getting late and cold, you look pale it best you get some rest."

"Don't worry, it's just my body is not used to all this hard work," she explained as she looked at both her palms.

Serfred gazed at the young girl beside him who continued to impress him.

...Of course, your body won't get used to it. A noble lady like you for sure has never done such manual labor yet here you are fighting all odds as you put all these people's happiness before your own self.

"Should I carry you back to your house?"

Athena turned to face Serfred and was surprised by what she just heard. Despite her body might be a body of a young lady inside was a matured woman already and clearly, understand what was going on. Yet it surprises Athena herself in how she responded, "Okay..."

...What the heck? Why did I just agree to let Serfred carry me? Why is he gazing at me like that? Why are the men in this world so handsome and sweet? This young heart of mine can handle this, I feel like I'm about to explode.

Serfred reached out his hand around the girl's waist as he slowly lifted her up.

Athena wraps her arms around the man's neck as she lay her head to rest by his shoulder. "Thank you."

"It's my honor, my Lady."

It caught the entire village attention when they saw Serfred carrying Athena like a princess. They all started whispering to each other can couldn't keep to themselves.

"Tycho are you seeing what I'm seeing right now?" Diana pinched Tycho in disbelief of what just happened.

"I am so can you please stop pinching me. I'm sure we're not dreaming," he replied as he caressed his arms to ease the pain.

"Did Serfred by chance fell in love with Tina at first sight?"

"Don't jump to conclusion Diana. Maybe Tina was just exhausted from all that happened today and Serfred offered to help." Tycho explained as he noticed how pale Athena was during their trip together and how easily worn out she was all the time.

"You right, for some reason. I feel like Athena is not used to her body."

Tycho was surprised that Diana notices it as well. Seeing how Athena master the bow earlier, he thought he was seeing another person when she released the arrow.
