After hearing from Mia that when Liv suddenly leaves without a word, the only place she goes to is the beach.
Kai arrived at the empty beach where the gentle sound of the waves was the only noise breaking the silence, but Kai's footsteps were heavy, hurried.
He had been searching for what felt like hours, his heart racing with each passing minute.
Then, he saw her, Liv. She was standing by, her pregnant belly gently resting in her hands, her gaze fixed on her belly.
She looked so distant, as if she were in a world of her own.
Lost in thoughts that Kai couldn't understand.
Kai called out, his voice strained, full of exhaustion and worry.
He ran toward her, his breath shallow, desperate.
At the sound of his voice, Liv turned slowly. Her eyes blinked, confused.

Mr. Thompson...why are you here?
Kai didn't say a word. He closed the distance between them in a heartbeat and pulled her close, his arms wrapping around her like he never wanted to let go.
He rested his cheek against the top of her head, his heartbeat quick and uneven.
Liv felt his warmth, the tension in his body, and for a moment, she left herself be still. She wasn't sure why, but she felt a sense of safety in his arms.

Liv leaned into him, her head on his chest, and closed her eyes. She didn't question it. It was as if the world had stopped, and for once, she didn't have to think about anything.
But someone else was watching them from a distance.
After following Kai curiously after the way he left the office earlier in a rush.
Pamela sat in her car, parked just off the road above the beach, her gaze fixed on Kai whose is now here, standing by the water with a girl *Liv* she didn't recognize.
The way he was holding her...it didn't sit right with Pamela. There was something about the way he looked at her, the way he held her so tightly that made Pamela's stomach twist with unease.
She muttered to herself, squinting to get a clearer view.
She could see Kai there was no mistaking him, but the girl's
* Liv* was hidden, her head pressed against his chest. Pamela frowned, confused.
She had heard the name Liv but wasn't sure if it was the Liv she knows.
Pamela watched, her heart racing as the two stood there on the empty beach.
The questions lingered in her mind, unanswered, as she sat in her car, watching them from afar.
Mia pushed open the door to the cafe, her heart pounding as she stepped inside for the first day at her part time job.
She quickly scanned the room, looking for the manager.
Instead her eyes froze when she spotted Iris and Regina the girl who had tormented her for months.
They were sharing a milkshake at a table in the corner.
Her heart sank as she watched them laughing and chatting together.
