The dinning hall of the crown Hotel was buzzing with laughter and chatter as Kai sat at the grand table, surrounded by his wealthy guests.
His eyes gleamed with confidence as he spoke to them, his laughter mixing with theirs.
The fine silverware gleamed, and the rich aroma of gourmet food filled the air.

How are things going with the new investments?
One guest asked, raising his glass.

Oh, it's going brilliantly. The profits are higher than expected. Everything's running smoothly.
Kai replied, smiling widely.
Just as he was about to take a sip of his wine, his gaze shifted and froze. There, walking past him, was Liv.
She was carefully adjusting the plates and cups, making sure everything was in place for the guests.
Kai's smile faded. He watched her for a moment, confusion and shock filling his mind. Why was she still here?

Oh my god, look at that beautiful young woman. She's pregnant.
One of the guest exclaimed, noticing Liv as she passed by.

Another guest replied, raising an eyebrow in surprise.

One of the guests asked, calling out to Liv as she was walking away.
Liv paused and turned toward them, a polite smile on her face.
She answered softly, her hand resting on her stomach.

Another guest said with a friendly nod.
Liv replied and then hurried away, her face calm and her eyes a little sad.
Kai didn't speak for a moment, still caught off guard. He sat there, staring at her retreating figure.
His mind raced. Why was she still here? Hadn't he made it clear that she was supposed to leave?
One of the guests turned to him, sensing something was wrong.
They asked, noticing his frozen expression.
Kai shook his head slightly, trying to push the confusion away.

Yes, everything's fine.Just... didn't expect to see her.
The laughter resumed, Kai forced his.
Kai paced back and forth in his office. He had asked for Liv to be called in, his anger simmering just beneath the surface.
Liv stepped inside, her movements tentative, her eyes focused on the floor as she took a small, careful steps.
She wasn't sure why She had been summoned, but the uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach told her that whatever it was, it wasn't good.

His voice cut through the silence.
She obeyed, hesitantly shutting the door behind her.
He didn't say anything at first. He just stared at her...his cold, calculating gaze making her heart beat faster.
She could feel the tension in the air, thick and suffocating.

You didn't leave.
He finally spoke, his voice low but sharp.
Liv stood there, her hands clasped in front of her, the swell of her belly now painfully obvious. She shifted nervously, glancing at the door behind her, but there was nowhere to go.
She could feel the cold pressure of his gaze like a physical weight.

She stammered, her voice small, unsure.
