Episode # 4
The atmosphere changed the moment the CEO Kai Thompson stepped into the lobby.
The sound of the usual chatter and clinking glasses came to an immediate halt.
The CEO, tall man with a sharp cold gaze, walked through the lobby with slow, deliberate steps.
His presence demanded attention, and everyone who worked there knew it.
They all stood up straighter,their eyes forward,hands at the sides.
The receptionist wiped a spot off the desk. A bellboy adjusted his uniform.
The manager glanced nervously at the CEO as he passed by.
A new maid, Liv was busy cleaning rooms, while still pregnant.
she was unaware of what was happening downstairs. With her mop in hand, she hummed quietly as she worked, scrubbing a floor with focus.
She had no idea that the entire hotel had frozen in place beacuse the CEO had arrived. To her, it was just another day.
Kai made his way across the lobby. His eyes, like ice, scanned everyone. He noticed every detail: the crease of the suits, the shine of shoes, the cleanliness of uniforms.
His gaze fell on a man, one of the bellhops whose tie was undone.
Kai's eyes narrowed slightly, and he stopped walking.
Lisa who had been watching from a distance, immediately stepped forward.
Lisa Joseph (The manager)
Yes sir?
She asked,her voice tight with nervousness.
Kai Thompson (ML)
That man.
He said in a low cold voice pointing to the bellhop.

His tie.
Lisa's eyes widened, and she immediately turned to the bellhop.
Lisa Joseph (The manager)
You're fired.
she said quickly, without hesitation, her voice stiff with urgency.
The bellhop, pale faced, nodded and left immediately, as if he has been expecting it.
Lisa's gaze shifted to Kai, but he was already turning toward the elevator, his face unreadable.
Liv, still busy upstairs,had no idea what had just happened.
She was focused on her work, unaware that the world has shifted below her.
The CEO disappeared into the elevator, and as the doors closed, the hotel slowly returned to its normal rhythm.
Employees quickly resuming their duties, though all were aware that the slightest mistake would cost them dearly.
The quiet hum of the hotel at night felt different, almost eerie, without the usual buzz of activity.
The dim lights flickered above Kai as walked slightly through the deserted dining Hall, his sharp gaze sweeping over every detail.
The silverware was arranged precisely,the tables empty, awaiting the morning rush.
As he walked, he saw Liv. She was bent over a cart, scrubbing it with meticulous care, her movement steady and purposeful.
The gentle sway of her figure caught his attention, and for a moment, his cold demeanor faltered.
She was alone in the hall, unaware of his presence,the only one still working in the dead of night.
Her back was turned to him, but even from a distance,he could see the quiet rhythm of her movements.
And, then she shifted, the curve of her stomach became visible round, soft unmistakable.
Kai stopped in his tracks, his eyes narrowing slightly as he stared at her.
His mind raced, but for once,his thoughts weren't focused on the usual sharp judgments,the strict standards, the cold precision with which he governed his empire.
No, in this moment, his gaze softened, a strange warmth creeping into the coldness of his demeanor.
Liv straightened up, and as she did, her eyes met his.
There was a brief moment of stillness between them. For long moment, neither spoke. She wasn't unaware Kai is the CEO.
The words he'd intended to speak whatever scolding and reprimand had been forming in his head fell away.
