They stared at each other for a few moments, Kate confused, not only because she didn't understand why James was looking at her like that, but also because of the effect of the tranquilizers.

"Maycon told me that I should try to listen to you," James said, putting his hands in his pockets. "But now everything is really clear. I feel..." James stopped and waited for his hand to stop shaking... "Don't show up at my house again."
