Rain McConnell looked back, and the heavy traffic seemed no different as usual as if there was nothing wrong. However, how would the danger hiding in the darkness easily show its face?

Xavier Lewis took a glance at her and answered calmly, "Nothing really important."

"What kind of answer is this?" she thought to herself. Xavier freed one hand and took the phone from his arms, throwing it to her. "Call your family and tell them you have to go back to Tughland for an emergency."

She took the phone and had the urge to dial 110, but it seemed that he could read her mind. "Rainy, let me remind you. I know where your family lives in Hattingnom." he said with a plain tone of voice.

Hearing the threat from his words couldn't have been more apparent, she bit her lips. Finally, she had no choice but to surrender this man, calling her family's number.

She hadn't been back home last night, and her whole family was freaked out. Her parents kept asking where she was, but she didn't know how to answer them on the other side of the phone.

Xavier hit the steering wheel to stop the car, looked at Rain, who was in a dilemma and took the phone. "Hello? This is Mr. Lewis, and I am working for Kalama Group in Tughland. We need Dr. McConnell to come back here right away. Yes. Dr. McConnell has been the chairman's primary care physician. Yeah. I'm sorry for this sudden situation. My colleague will go to the house later to pick up Dr. McConnell's papers and send a present as our gratitude. Okay. It was nice to talk to you, have a nice day! Bye-bye!"

Xavier hung up the phone straight away. When his eyes met Rain's, he raised his eyebrow. "Anything wrong?"

"Have you ever told people the truth?"

She then sneered, "You look like a professional lier, innit?"

He leaned over a bit, looked at her eyes, and put on a smile. His fingers swept her cheeks alluringly while whispering to her ears with a husky voice, "I never lie in bed."

Hearing his words, Rain's blushed like a tomato immediately.

As she tried to dodge this man and left the car, she found that they had arrived at the airport. Xavier parked the car, leaning against the car door to light a cigarette and blow a smoke ring. "Nothing everything is a lie. If we want to go back to Thughland, we will need proper identities to cross the border."

Rain did not answer, and he turned silent for a moment. "Let's go," he put out his cigarette and grabbed her.

They followed the flow of people into the airport. Through communicating in Tugh, he found the airport staff. After showing his identity, the staff led them to the VIP lounge, a small independent room on the airport's second floor.

Xavier's men were guarding at the entrance, and he took Rain inside after giving them

some orders.

"Take it off."

"What?!"

She took a step back as he looked at her with a smile on his face, and he took off his jacket and threw it on the sofa. After that, he walked towards her. "How come he suddenly wants to do it here? Sure enough, I can never understand a psycho's mind." Rain told herself and moved behind the sofa. "They will be people coming."

Xavier smiled, pulling her in front of him and quickly taking her jacket and pants off. As he held her clothes, he raised his eyebrows. "Although I have seen you ***** for several times, I have to say. Rainy, you do have a sexy body."

Covering her body, Rain was embarrassed and upset. After ripping the clothes off her body, he turned around, took a large bag, and threw it to her. "Put them on."

Rain was stunned for a moment, but Xavier had already turned around. He took off his pants as if she wasn't there, taking clothes from another bag and changing. When he turned his head and saw that she stood still, he slightly narrowed his eyes. "What? Do you want me to put on clothes for you?"

Rain finally came back to her senses. Seeing the fire red dress and the brunette long wavy wig in the bag, she started to dress without wasting a second. On the other hand, Xavier had put on a Hawaiian-style straw hat and a pair of oversized sunglasses.

After changing his clothes, he turned his playful expression serious, walking the VIP lounge's bathroom with Rain and locking the door. The bathroom was connected to a storage room. The two passed the room, walked out along the side door, and went down the stairs after a corner. They were back to the hustle and bustle airport hall within a second.

Rain had never had this experience, so she couldn't help but feel the butterflies in her stomach. Even if Xavier didn't say anything, she knew who they were trying to get rid of. However, he didn't seem to be in a rush to leave the airport.

Finding a spot where they could see the second floor's hallway, he took her to sit down and leisurely placed his hand behind her chair. "Look." he leaned towards her and said.

A man came in at the revolving door of the airport, walking straight up to the second floor with a folder in his hand, and someone opened the VIP lounge's door. Rain widened her eyes, watching a man and a woman appeared at the door wearing the clothes on her and Xavier earlier. After taking the folder and nodding, the woman followed the man next to her to another passage.

Until the two figures disappeared, Xavier pulled Rain to stand up to the first floor and followed the crowd out of the airport. They did not go far, turned a corner, went directly to the hotel next to the airport, and asked for a room.

After getting into the room, he took off his straw hat and threw off his sunglasses to relax on the bed. Not until this moment did she see the bloodstain on his arm, "You're injured?

Xavier raised his hand to look at his arm, raising his eyebrow. "A kitten bit me during bungee jumping earlier."

It turned out what she had bitten with all her strength while jumping down had been his arm, so she turned around. "I'll get some medicine to dress your wound..."

She felt a force on her wrist as he sat up to drag her and smiled, "There's some in the bathroom cabinet."

Feeling the danger, Rain answered in panic. Xavier finally let go of her hand and sat back on the bed to look at her again. She felt awkward with his stare and ran to the bathroom to void him, feeling her heart pounding like crazy.

"Calm down, calm down, calm down..." Rain told herself and took the first-aid kit from the cabinet. She knew about what trick was he playing, so she should have been safe for the time being as long as she carefully dealt with him. She just needed to pay more attention to him...

 Rain turned around and out a cry in shock. Xavier had taken off his jacket, walking into the bathroom half nakedly. He reached out his hand and swiftly caught the kit fallen from her hand, growing gently. "Be careful."

"Okay..."

She took the first-aid kit, "Let... let me dress the wound for you."

He reached his arm, and the warm light stirred up a coppery glow on his skin. He leaned over too close, so his body heat brought Rain a sense of anxiety. The bathroom was so narrow that presence almost pushed her into a tiny corner, and she struggled to focus all of her attention on his wound.

After quickly cleaning the wound and putting on some cream, she raised her eyes and met his. All of a sudden, what she had wanted to say seemed to disappear from her mind.

Rain clutched the gauze roll in her hand, but her heart was beating wildly. At this critical moment, his violent kisses surprisingly came to her mind. How could she obey without him making a move? Rain swallowed her saliva unconsciously and put on a wry smile, "It's... it's down..."

Xavier lowered his eyes and looked at her for a long time, unexpectedly turning around and walking out. Rain let out a sigh of relief, but the man suddenly turned around at the door. "What?" she was dumbfounded.

He turned silent for a while and finally opened his mouth coldly. "Remember. Don't you dare to leave my sight."

What did he mean? Rain was speechless and wondered if he was serious. Was he saying she had to do everything in front of him, including...?

Obviously, he knew what was in her mind, narrowing his eyes and nodding emotionlessly. "Exactly."

Rain didn't know what to say.
