Xavier Lewis got out of the jeep car and met Chris' eyes calmly. For a moment, neither of them said a word. Seeing the situation, Rain McConnell was scared to death.

Chris sized her body up and turned to Xavier, "If you want to, then send this girl to your room. You are my brother, so there is no need to have a fight for a woman."

"Thank you, Chris!"

Xavier smiled and looked at the big man holding Rain, and the guy followed his order to take her in another direction right away.

Rain saw Xavier and Chris hitting each other's fists gently, and soon their figures disappeared into the gilded carved wooden door.

The big man walked quickly, passing the garden to the west part. Within a short walk, there was a separate courtyard. The big man carried Rain into Xavier's house, sent her upstairs, locked her in his room, and finally left her alone.

After the man vigorously threw her on the floor, she rubbed her painful legs and slowly stood up. There were no lights on in the room, and it was pretty empty. There was nothing else besides a vast and heavy wooden bed, a set of the same wooden parlor table and chairs, and a marble screen.

Rain stopped looking around the room and leaned on the large open window, but the great height made her heart pound like crazy. Except for a three-foot rock, only the bottomless cliff was down the window.

The night was so dark that it seemed the daylight would never come back anymore, and the thick fog in the cliff made everything look evil. Staring into the blackness, Rain felt the mysterious cliff could suck her like a black hole.

Realizing that the window wasn't the way out, Rain turned back to the room and sat on the floor. After walking for so long, her legs felt nothing but severe pain and soreness. Without her will to support her in facing the kidnap, she couldn't have come through until now.

Rain raised her head to look around again, and the room door was suddenly opened. A woman with a stack of clean clothes came in, giving her a sweet and gentle smile. After leaving the clothes in her hands on the bed, the woman put her hands together and left.

If Rain hadn't been kidnapped, she would have believed she had been in a luxurious five-star hotel! Rain stood up and went to bed to look at the folded clean clothes the woman had left, some traditional tulle dresses of Thughland with a soft texture and bright colors.

As Rain was checking the clothes, someone opened the room door again. Two topless men carrying a huge wooden bathtub came in and put it in front of the bed, which where on the open space in front of the window.

Soon after, some women entered to fill the water into the bathtub, sprinkled with flower petals as they put down towels, shower gel, and fragrance oil. After setting down everything, the group made the Buddhist greeting gesture again and left.

None of them hadn't said a word after entering the room, but Rain also hadn't asked a question. She knew that even she had tried, these well-trained people wouldn't have told her anything about this mysterious place. On the other hand, she wasn't stupid enough to rush out of the door when they had prepared the bath for her.

Rain clearly knew that there was no use crying or being nervous in this situation. Staying in this room was much safer than staying anywhere else for the time being. She might have a chance to escape, but it wouldn't be right now.

Looking at the water in the bathtub, Rain took off her clothes and sat in without hesitation. After this long day, her body was full of dirt, and she needed to clean up urgently. After soaking in the warm water, Rain was finally more relaxed and was able to think about her situation.

There was no doubt that she was in a lions' den, and her priority was to survive. Thinking about her parents' mood after knowing about her accident, Rain was down in the dumps, but she forced himself not to think about it.

It seemed that she couldn't escape from her fate to be humiliated tonight. If Xavier was as cruel as the others, why had he saved her life in the supermarket? However, Rain didn't spend too much time on this question.

In any case, it was better to be in this man's hand than being Chris and those men's toy, which might make her lose her life tonight.

After taking a quick shower, Rain didn't wear the perfume or the tulle dresses. She put on her T-shirt and jeans, leaving her long wet hair on the shoulders. Sitting on the wide windowsill, she narrowed her eyes and looked at the mountains far away.

Finally, Rain couldn't resist the tiredness and drifted into sleep. While she was half awake and half asleep, she felt her body lift as if she was in a warm chest. There was warm breath on her cheeks, and she opened her eyes in a daze.

Xavier held her in his arms, gently putting her on the bed. She came back to her senses instantly, staring at the man in the darkness with her eyes wide open.

He suddenly stopped moving. Rain was on the bottom as he was on top. Their skin pressed against each other, and their bodies stuck together. They were on the large bed, extremely close, feeling the breath. Within a second, the atmosphere couldn't be more flirty.

Rain looked at the man motionlessly, but there wasn't a trace of fear in her eyes. Instead, there was nothing but calmness and clearness, which aroused Xavier's interest. Putting a curve on his mouth, he had a smile on his face. The smirk revealed the danger he was born with, which seemed evil but could catch anyone's heart.

She might have enjoyed his attractive appearance more if they had been in the right place or the right time.

 "My surname is Lewis." He introduced himself briefly as if he was already sure she knew his name. Out of politeness, she smiled at him back. "Rain McConnell."

"Rainy, that's a cute name."

The smile on Xavier's face turned brighter, and Rain slightly knotted her eyebrows. Her body was destined to belong to this man, so having some weird nicknames wouldn't be a big deal then.

If he wanted, he could call her whatever he wanted. Now her goal was to try her best to please him and make this man her protector here. Only in this way could she walk out of this place alive.

She was a doctor, after all. Even though she hadn't had any experience during the seven years in medical school, she knew some basic knowledge. She knew she just had to bear with it, and everything would end before she knew.

If he was skilled, maybe she might get to have some pleasure. Why not see him as a one-night stand stranger or a decent **********? It was just her body, and it wasn't too much to lose as long as she could survive.

Rain seriously mentally prepared herself. On the other hand, Xavier just stared at her from the top without taking any action. His calm and playful look gradually made her feel embarrassed, so she finally could not resist his gaze and whipped her head. "What do you want to do?"

"How do I know what to do?"

Reading the unmistakable trace of naughty in Xavier's tone, Rain turned to meet his eyes. What did it mean... Was he suggesting that he was a pure and innocent ******?

"Nobody has ever told you?" Seeing the dumbfounded look on her face, he smiled ear to ear. However, his words scared her out of the skin. "I want nothing from women but playing with their hearts. Me── I am not a man of lust."

What! Might as well be taken away by Chris! Rain found this man was actually a psycho!
