chapter 7 and extras

Chapter 7 – "The Glitch Beast X-404: File Not Found"

After "fixing" the Lagging Knight, Kaydee stumbles into his next disaster—a horrific, reality-breaking abomination known as the Glitch Beast X-404. This creature is a corrupted game entity that constantly shifts between different forms, phases through terrain, and defies all logic.

The result? A hilariously cursed battle where Kaydee tries to use debug commands, only for things to get worse.

---

Scene: The Great Crash Site

Kaydee whistled as he continued his journey, feeling satisfied after "fixing" Sir Reginald.

"See? Debugging is easy. Just a little console magic, and boom—problems solved."

Then, the sky flickered. The world around him warped, glitched, and distorted.

⚠ SYSTEM ERROR DETECTED!

A deep, robotic growl echoed through the landscape.

A massive beast emerged—its body flickering between pixels, polygons, and pure static.

The Glitch Beast X-404 has appeared!

Kaydee’s eye twitched. "Oh. Oh no. That thing looks like an unfinished DLC boss."

The Glitch Beast X-404 – Bug Report

🛑 Issue #1 – Form Instability

The beast’s head turned into a chicken for two seconds, then into a dragon, then into a JPEG file.

Kaydee: "Oh god, it doesn’t even have a stable character model—I’M FIGHTING A DAMN FILE ERROR!"

🛑 Issue #2 – Attack Lag & Overcorrection

The beast swung its claw. Nothing happened.

Kaydee smirked. "Ha! Looks like your attacks are lagging just like that knight."

Then, the claw suddenly warped forward at 500x speed.

BOOM!

Kaydee was sent flying across the map and crashed into a tree.

Kaydee (from the crater): "...Okay, maybe I deserved that."

🛑 Issue #3 – Phase Collision

The beast suddenly fell halfway into the ground, its legs clipping through the terrain.

Kaydee: "Hah! Now you’re stuck!"

Then, it teleported behind him.

Kaydee: "WHAT KIND OF STUPID PHASE BUG—"

---

Debugging the Nightmare

Kaydee frantically opened his debug console.

Command Input: "entity.setstability(1.0)"

⚠ Error: Cannot stabilize corrupted data.

Kaydee: "...Great."

Command Input: "entity.freeze()"

Success! The Glitch Beast X-404 has been paused.

Kaydee grinned. "HA! GOTCHA!"

Then— the beast started playing in reverse.

Kaydee: "WHY IS IT MOONWALKING BACKWARDS?!?!"

---

The Final "Fix"

Kaydee sighed. "Okay, if fixing won’t work… DELETE IT."

Command Input: "entity.delete()"

⚠ Error: Deletion failed. Entity is too bugged.

The beast roared, splitting into multiple error messages.

Kaydee: "Okay. Plan B."

Command Input: "spawn.item(ban_hammer, admin)"

A massive glowing hammer appeared in his hands.

Kaydee: "Let’s go, classic mod powers!"

WHAM!

The moment the hammer touched the beast, it disappeared with a comical "pop" sound effect.

A tiny message floated in the air:

[Glitch Beast X-404 has been permanently banned from the server.]

Kaydee wiped his forehead. "Phew. Debugging is hard work."

Then, he turned around—

And saw a group of incredibly overpowered RPG heroes glaring at him.

"THOU HAST COMMITTED A CRIME AGAINST BALANCE!"

Kaydee blinked. "Wait. Who the hell are you guys?"

to be continued...

Extras:

🔨 Massive Banhammer

> “When all else fails… bring the hammer down.”

---

📌 Item Type:

Legendary Debugging Weapon (One-Time Use – System Override)

---

📌 Appearance:

A gigantic, two-handed warhammer with an otherworldly design, radiating authority and finality.

The head of the hammer is blocky and pixelated on one side, resembling an 8-bit “BANNED” stamp. The other side flickers between solid gold code and glitching data cubes.

The shaft is metallic with glowing blue circuit lines, pulsating like a living motherboard.

The handle is wrapped in black leather, and engraved along its length are the words:

"BY ORDER OF THE SYSTEM ADMIN – FINAL JUDGMENT."

When swung, it emits a deep, echoing sound—like a judge’s gavel slamming in a cosmic courtroom.

---

📌 Effects & Abilities:

1️⃣ Banwave Strike –

Upon impact, the Banhammer purges all glitched entities within a large radius.

Corrupted enemies are instantly deleted if they are below a certain power threshold. Stronger entities (like Glitch Beasts) are forcibly weakened and lose unstable powers.

2️⃣ Judgment Call –

Allows Kaydee to target a specific glitched enemy for direct banishment.

Upon activation, the target is frozen in a system lock, and a ban screen appears, reading:

“Violation: Unauthorized Entity Detected – Terminating Access.”

This effect fully erases even powerful glitch entities like X-404—but can only be used once due to its massive energy cost.

3️⃣ System Override –

Temporarily grants Kaydee the authority of a System Admin, allowing him to overwrite corrupted game rules.

For 30 seconds after activation, he can:

Undo environmental glitches (e.g., restoring broken landscapes).

Restore NPCs to their pre-glitch state.

Disable no-clip areas and lock cheats used by the AI GameMaster.

4️⃣ Error Suppressor –

Stabilizes nearby data, preventing further glitches for a limited time.

This effect prevents respawn loops, closing broken rifts caused by high-tier glitch beasts.

---

📌 Drawbacks:

❌ One-Time Use –

Once Kaydee uses Judgment Call to erase a major glitch entity, the hammer disintegrates, leaving only faint digital fragments.

❌ System Recoil –

Using the Banhammer puts immense strain on the game’s stability—overuse could trigger even bigger glitches elsewhere.

After use, Kaydee’s connection to the system weakens temporarily, disabling his debug abilities for a time.

❌ Unstable Legacy –

This weapon is not supposed to exist. Its presence is a relic from the Pre-Glitchworld Admin System, and using it draws the AI GameMaster’s direct attention, escalating the conflict.

---

📌 Signature Move: BANISHMENT PROTOCOL

In his final blow against Glitch Beast X-404, Kaydee triggers the Banishment Protocol:

The Banhammer glows brilliant gold and pixel-blue, and a System Error Screen hovers over the target.

As Kaydee swings down, a ban message appears in the air:

“ACCESS REVOKED – ENTITY X-404 EXPELLED FROM SYSTEM.”

The Glitch Beast is forcibly deleted, leaving only corrupted code fragments behind.

This moment marks a major turning point—the AI GameMaster now sees Kaydee as a threat to the entire system, and the battle for control over Gran Misepula escalates further.

---

In short, Kaydee’s Massive Banhammer is the ultimate tool of judgment, a one-time weapon that can erase the most dangerous glitches—but using it comes at a steep cost and unintended consequences for the fragile world.

👾 Class: World Anomaly / Bugged Raid Boss

👾 Status: UNSTABLE – A creature that constantly "despawns and respawns" due to its broken code.

📝 Personality & Behavior:

❌ Exists and Doesn’t Exist at the Same Time – When not observed, it ceases to exist.

❌ Data Corruption Makes it Unpredictable – Sometimes too strong, sometimes completely harmless.

❌ Voice is a Jumbled Mess – Talks in a mix of error codes, broken text, and random game dialogue.

❌ Reality Breaks Around It – Walking near it distorts the environment, causing weird side effects (e.g., floating objects, textures failing to load).

🦴 Abilities & Fighting Style:

👾 404 Phase Shift – Teleports randomly, sometimes ending up inside walls or underground.

👾 Glitch Roar – Emits a horrifying sound that crashes weak NPCs out of existence.

👾 Hitbox Desync – Can be attacked but only in certain frames, making it frustrating to fight.

👾 Game Breaking Bug – If it’s defeated incorrectly, it resets the entire area, forcing Kaydee to redo everything.

📜 Role in the Story:

🔹 A failed experiment of the AI Game Master, X-404 is a "living error" that shouldn't exist.

🔹 Its presence warns Kaydee that something is deeply wrong with the world.

🔹 Fighting it is both terrifying and comedic, as its glitches create unpredictable chaos.

🔹 The Anti-Cheat System is aware of X-404 but can’t delete it without breaking the game further.
