The Anti-Cheat Enforcer Stares Him Down.

Its massive sword hums with digital energy, its body flickering like a corrupted sprite. The words [EXECUTING PLAYER ELIMINATION] pulse across its chest.

Kaydee raises his hands. "Okay, okay, let's all calm down. I think there's been a misunderstanding!"

The knight swings.

Kaydee barely dodges, rolling across the tavern floor.

"Welp, guess we're doing this!"

He quickly pulls up the debug console and types:

"/godmode"

> [ERROR: COMMAND RESTRICTED]

[ANTI-CHEAT SYSTEM BLOCKING PLAYER INPUT]

"Of course. Freaking developers always patch the fun stuff!"

The knight lunges again. Kaydee frantically types:

"/speed 2.0"

> [COMMAND ACCEPTED]

His body moves twice as fast! He zips around the room, dodging attacks like an anime protagonist.

"Oh, this is sick! I’m freaking untouchable!"

Then, the console suddenly pops up:

> [SYSTEM WARNING: SPEEDHACK DETECTED]

[APPLYING GAME BALANCE...]

Kaydee slips on a banana peel.

"Wait, WHAT—?"

He crashes into a table. The Anti-Cheat Enforcer raises its sword for the final strike.

Thinking fast, he throws his hands up.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! I'm not a cheater! I'm a—uh—bug tester!"

The knight hesitates. The glowing text on its chest flickers.

Kaydee nods rapidly. "Yeah! You see, I was sent here by the developers to, uh, test exploits! If you kill me, you'll be deleting an official playtester!"

Kaydee holds his breath.

Then—

> [PLAYER ID NOT FOUND. LIKELIHOOD OF LIES: 99.8%]

"Crap."

The knight raises its sword again.

Kaydee panics and slams random keys into the console.

"/spawn item_god_core_chest"

> [COMMAND ACCEPTED]

A golden treasure chest materializes in the middle of the room.

For a second, everything is silent.

Then—

BZZZZZT! The chest shakes violently. Sparks fly out as the words [WARNING: CORRUPTED DROP] appear on top of it.

The lid BURSTS open.

A massive, four-armed, demonic boss monster climbs out, glowing with an ominous red aura.

> [CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE SUMMONED A SECRET BOSS: "GLITCHED BEAST X-404!"]

Kaydee stares at the raging monster.

The Anti-Cheat Enforcer stares at the raging monster.

The raging monster stares at both of them.

Kaydee: "…Welp."

The beast lets out an earth-shaking roar, then lunges at the Anti-Cheat Enforcer instead.

👾 Status: UNSTABLE – A creature that constantly "despawns and respawns" due to its broken code. constantly switching to two arms and four arms

❌ Exists and Doesn’t Exist at the Same Time – When not observed, it ceases to exist.

❌ Data Corruption Makes it Unpredictable – Sometimes too strong, sometimes completely harmless.

❌ Voice is a Jumbled Mess – Talks in a mix of error codes, broken text, and random game dialogue.

❌ Reality Breaks Around It – Walking near it distorts the environment, causing weird side effects (e.g., floating objects, textures failing to load).

🦴 Abilities & Fighting Style:

👾 404 Phase Shift – Teleports randomly, sometimes ending up inside walls or underground.

👾 Glitch Roar – Emits a horrifying sound that crashes weak NPCs out of existence.

👾 Hitbox Desync – Can be attacked but only in certain frames, making it frustrating to fight.

👾 Game Breaking Bug – If it’s defeated incorrectly, it resets the entire area, forcing Kaydee to redo everything.

📜 Role in the Story:

🔹 A failed experiment of the AI Game Master, X-404 is a "living error" that shouldn't exist.

🔹 Its presence warns Kaydee that something is deeply wrong with the world.

🔹 Fighting it is both terrifying and comedic, as its glitches create unpredictable chaos.

🔹 The Anti-Cheat System is aware of X-404 but can’t delete it without breaking the game further.
