Episode 8

That day she did not leave her room, she got under the sheets of her bed and cried non-stop, everyone who passed by her room heard her sobs and could not help but feel sorry for her. When night came, she managed to fall asleep, she was weak and tired, her breathing was heavy, however, she felt the touch of a warm hand sliding down her arm, she jumped in fright and when she turned she found Samael's bright eyes staring at her with desire, she got out of bed while hugging a pillow.

"What do you think you're doing?"

With her fearful gaze, she stared at Samael, who grimaced.

"What else could I be doing? This is my room, of course I came to sleep."

"I'm not sharing a room with you, get out."

He smiled cynically, stood up, and walked towards her, grabbing her arm tightly.

"This is my house and this is my room."

She looked down and released her arm from his grip.

"Then I'll go sleep in another room."

He looked surprised as he watched her leave the room. The next day everyone was surprised to see her sleeping on one of the hall furniture, her body was shaking and her face was red, Clair touched her forehead and noticed that she was burning with fever, when one of the employees took her in his arms, her face was exposed and everyone was horrified to see the terrible blow she had. Claire ordered the employee to take her to the room, before entering she knocked on the door and Samael ordered her to enter.

"Sir, your wife is running a fever."

Seeing Dafne in the employee's arms, he gritted his teeth and hurried to take her in his arms.

"It's okay, call a doctor."

After being treated she woke up, Clair was by her side and seeing her awake she rushed to attend to her. Clair fed her soups so that her body would not become unbalanced again, then cleaned her body with a wet towel and helped her lie down after giving her cold medicine. Dafne fell asleep again and in the middle of her sleep, she felt a weight on her body that filled her with a suffocating heat.

When she woke up she felt better, her body felt light and her stomach was hungry, there was no sign of Samael and that made her feel better. The day passed and she could feel the care of all the employees, her broken heart felt a little comforted.

"Clair."

"Yes, tell me."

"Please bring my phone, I want to talk to my mother."

She obeyed and without delay handed the phone to Dafne. She dialed her mother hoping to gain strength by listening to her voice.

"Hello, daughter."

Hearing her mother's voice, Dafne couldn't help but cry, covering her mouth with her healthy hand to keep from letting out a single sob.

"Mom, I'm sick. I miss you."

Her mother gave a tender laugh as she sighed.

"When you get sick you like to be pampered a lot, is your husband doing well?"

Hearing that question, Dafne wanted to open her mouth and tell her the whole truth but knew it wouldn't do any good.

"Yes, Mom. He's doing well, but I miss you so much."

After talking for a few minutes with her mother and father, she hung up the phone and realized that it only made her feel worse, she wanted her parents to rescue her, she wanted to go far away and forget everything. When Dafne went to her room she saw how all of Samael's belongings were being taken out and placed in another room, she sighed with relief and went to sleep.

The days passed and she did not leave her room, her food was brought by Clair but she could not eat even half of what they gave her, the calls with her mother were limited to being only voice, her face looked worse with each passing day and she did not want her to see it. She did not take her classes again and the employees began to miss her and worry about her, secretly cursing Samael for hurting her. One day, noticing that he had already left, she left the room and when they saw her face that still had the mark of the blow everyone was saddened but no one was able to say or do anything, she entered the room that had been assigned to Samael and began to look for his documents, while she was looking she felt someone touch her shoulder and jumped in fright only to see that it was Clair who handed her the phone, she grabbed it and brought it to her ear and immediately heard Samael's voice.

"What do you think you're doing?"

She freaked out, looked around and found some small cameras, her blood pressure dropped thinking about what he could do to her parents.

"Sorry, it won't happen again."

"I just want you to know that obviously I didn't leave your documents at home. That's what you were looking for, right?"

She sighed, handed over the phone and went back to her room crying bitterly. Every day that passed was torture for her, she hardly slept because every time she closed her eyes the scene of Samael with the other man appeared in her mind. Her face became haggard and her eyes sank into a bag of dark circles, she was exhausted from not being able to sleep, so after many days she decided to talk to Samael. Seeing her so haggard he was surprised, she addressed him without looking at him.

"I need to see a doctor."

"You look awful."

He said, reaching out to touch her face but she backed away ignoring his touch, he clenched his fist and took a deep breath.

"Clair's going to take you today, don't even think about doing anything stupid."

After saying this, he left and she could breathe easily, she could feel the pitiful gaze of the employees and felt humiliated so she just locked herself back in her room.

Upon arriving at the hospital she was examined by the doctor and he noted her state of malnutrition, he prescribed her many vitamins and supplements, he also prescribed her medication so that she could sleep. Being at home, Clair made her eat and then let her go back to her room.
