Episode 7

Marko, enraged, immediately ordered his subordinates who had finished slapping themselves to drag Lina and Rudi away. They all hastily left the Mercure hotel.

Even though the members of the red axe group had broken legs, they managed to stand with great difficulty and got into the car they had brought earlier.

After that, the lobby of the Mercure hotel quickly became quiet.

Once the commotion in the Mercure hotel lobby ended, people resumed their activities as usual.

Among them, whispers about the recent incident were still heard, not forgotten by the hotel staff, security, or even the visitors.

It didn't take long for the news to spread among their respective social circles! Meanwhile, the person they were discussing was heading to a hotel room that had been booked earlier.

On the top floor of the Mercure hotel, the elevator doors opened and four people stepped out, led by an attractive hotel staffer who efficiently escorted the three handsome but disheveled youths due to their untidy clothes.

"This is your room!" said the attractive hotel staffer.

Then she opened the room door with a key card she had brought from the reception desk, after which she gave them a tour of the room.

Inside the room, the full features of a five-star hotel room were immediately apparent to the three men. Tama beheld this with a broad smile! It felt like it had been a long time since he'd enjoyed sleeping on a big, soft bed like the one displayed before him.

The Mercure hotel staffer eagerly guided them, interrupted only by Alda.

"Miss, that's quite enough; we have a general idea. Please carry on with your work," said Alda with a friendly smile.

"Ah, my apologies, sir! If the service I provided was unsatisfactory," said the girl, blushing.

She thought otherwise, believing Alda to be dissatisfied with her service, thus prompting her words.

"Oh, no! But we will take a bath; it's uncomfortable with a lady continuously in the room," Alda corrected.

"I apologize for that; I will now excuse myself. Thank you," she said and then hastily exited, her face already quite red.

Once outside the door, the attractive Mercure hotel staffers simply smiled, her thoughts at the moment unknown.

As she waited in front of the elevator, the doors opened and another colleague arrived, guiding Riko to his room.

"Si, why are you out already?" asked her colleague, surprised that Usi had come out so quickly.

She wondered if her friend had not done her job properly.

"Ah, the guests in the room didn't want an explanation or any additional service!" Usi replied quickly.

"I understand; you all continue with your work!" said Riko, heading directly for the room already occupied by his friends. Since there were only two Presidential suites on the top floor, he entered straight away after being let in by Alda.

The two Mercure hotel staffers could only exchange looks, not understanding what they were thinking! Usually, guests staying in the most luxurious rooms would request extra services from the hotel staff.

However, they didn't want to be disturbed or be served in detail.

Eventually, they had no choice but to return to the hotel lobby to attend to other tasks.

Elsewhere.

Eight cars raced along a deserted road in a remote area of Emerald city; suddenly, the vehicles came to a stop! Then, two unconscious people were thrown out into the bushes by the roadside and left there.

The cars sped off back towards the center of Emerald city and headed to the city hospital.

The 25 individuals were immediately treated by the nurses and doctors at Emerald city hospital.

Marco sat on a hospital bed, took out his mobile phone, and quickly called his boss.

When connected, there was silence on the other end, prompting Marco to speak first.

"Boss, Riko Setiadi has forgiven the incident this time! We've all been punished by him; does the boss still blame us?" Marco's voice was soft.

"If this matter results in further trouble, make sure none of you drag me into it! If Mr. Riko Setiadi has forgiven you, then that's good," said the voice on the other end harshly before quickly hanging up.

"Damn, what sort of person have I offended? Even the boss is scared," Marco complained.

He touched his swollen cheek, a result of his own slaps, and reflected for a long time.

Time passed.

Evening arrived, and the household of the Sanggoro family was in disarray.

Mr. Besar Sanggoro was angry, furiously so, because his grandchild had not returned home in two days.

Since that morning, phone calls to him had gone unanswered. However, by the afternoon, they found that the boy he cherished, along with his girlfriend, had been discovered in a comatose, paralyzed state on the city outskirts.

Hearing this news, he was incensed, slamming his fist on the desk in his office.

"Find whoever did this, I don't care who they are! I will settle the score with them," Mr. Besar Sanggoro demanded.

His trusted man could only bow and listen attentively.

"Yes, sir, but if a powerful family is responsible, are we prepared to fight to the bitter end?" asked the trusted person of Mr. Besar Sanggoro.

"I don't care, whoever they are will face the wrath of the Sanggoro family! Do they think the Sanggoro family can be trifled with so easily?" said Mr. Besar Sanggoro.

"No, sir, but I have received word from the Mercure hotel that the young master was attacked there by someone named Riko Setiadi! We are currently investigating further," said the trusted person of Mr. Besar Sanggoro.

"Good, investigate thoroughly!" Mr. Besar instructed.

"Yes, sir!" his subordinate replied.

"Sugi!" Mr. Besar Sanggoro called out his confidant's name.

"Yes, sir!" Sugi responded.

"You know, what I usually do in situations like this, don't you?"

"Yes, I am aware of what you do when you are truly angered," Sugi said.

Mr. Besar Sanggoro cruelly sneered, nodding his head twice to indicate that he was very pleased with Sugi's work.

He was glad because Sugi was very capable, even knowing what he wanted, which is why Mr. Besar Sanggoro still chose him as his confidant.

Swiftly, Sugi left to carry out the orders of Mr. Besar Sanggoro.

"Riko Setiadi, who is this person? I have never heard of the Setiadi family in Emerald city," said Mr. Besar Sanggoro.

He could not recognize the Setiadi family because their status was too low in the world of martial arts and underground fighting; the Sanggoro family only excelled in business! That too, only over the past few decades; before then, the Sanggoro family was just a lower-class household.

So, it was no surprise that Mr. Besar Sanggoro was unfamiliar with the Setiadi family.
