The small table before the four individuals at the fast food restaurant was now laden with an array of both hearty and light foods, over half of which were ordered by Tama.
He immediately set to devouring the spread before him without delay, while the others ate only a little.
"How much longer until we reach your family's home, Riko?" Alda asked, her curiosity piqued.
She was curious because they had been driving for nearly all night, and at breakneck speed without rest.
If not for this rest area, their car might well have run out of fuel on the road.
"We're close, just a few more hours to go!" Riko replied nonchalantly.
Dion drank only coffee, and then stepped outside with two sets of car keys to refill their vehicles with fuel.
Meanwhile, the others remained seated in the fast food restaurant's calm ambiance, unlike Tama who was still preoccupied with his meal.
"Hey, this is delicious! Try some, Alda!" Tama exclaimed.
He promptly offered a large slice of roast to Alda's plate, and, albeit reluctantly, Alda accepted and ate it.
"Yes, it's really tender!" Alda commented after she had finished the slice that Tama had offered her.
They chatted while eating, until eventually Doni walked back in.
"Let's continue the journey! The cars are cooler now and the tanks are full," Dion announced after taking his seat.
"Auntie, I'll have three more of these, please, quickly!" Tama requested, clearly addicted to the fast food restaurant's roast.
"Right away, sir!" the middle-aged female server responded promptly.
With reluctance, the four ended up waiting because of Tama's order for three more large portions of roast, causing them a significant delay.
After everything was sorted, Riko swiftly took care of the bill.
The group then resumed their journey towards the Setiadi family residence.
After another three hours of driving through hills and steep roads, they finally arrived at the foot of Mount Tambara.
The mountain, one of the highest in the country of Trukotan, marked the border between Emerald City and other eastern regions.
However, the atmosphere was tranquil and the mountain air was fresh, especially since it was still early morning.
In the distance, a tall gate with a sign proclaiming 'Restricted Area' could be seen because the region belonged to the Setiadi family.
Though the family was reclusive, they were not completely isolated as they did engage with the corporate world, but only a select few knew them.
Upon crossing the large gate, Riko rolled down the front passenger window and was immediately recognized by the gatekeeper.
"Welcome back, young master!" the gatekeeper greeted respectfully.
"Yes..!" Riko replied casually.
He wasn't fond of being called 'young master', but accepted it as a form of their respect, rendering him powerless to change it.
"Young master, would you like some of this roast?" Tama teased, using the title.
"Silence, or I'll stuff my hand in your mouth so you can't eat ever again!" Riko threatened.
His threat was meant to silence Tama, who of all four of them, was the quickest to lose his temper, acting childishly despite being the oldest.
"Alright, young master!" Tama retorted before quieting down and resuming his meal.
Despite his voracious appetite, Tama's body was athletic, as he uniquely converted all the calories into fighting strength.
Whatever technique he employed, only Tama could perform it.
Passing under the tall gate, they drove further until reaching an imposing yet quaintly styled mansion.
The mansion was surrounded by towering golden columns, in stark contrast with the brightly red-tiled roofs which were high-pitched and extended far.
Mount Tambara formed a majestic backdrop for the imposing structure, adding to its serene grandeur.
The young master's return created a great stir that morning, and gathered all members of the Setiadi family in the main hall.
The main hall was immense, and upon Riko's entrance, he was greeted by the current head of the Setiadi family along with other relatives. The family elders sat in the highest place of honor.
He was Riko Setiadi's grandfather, Ken Setiadi!
Alda and the others, though feeling slightly awkward, were also welcomed warmly, exuding a genuine harmony within the Setiadi family that was not forced.
From Alda's perspective, this stirred a sense of admiration for the Setiadis, contrasting with her own Button family that, disappointingly, was embroiled in internal power struggles to the point of fratricide.
Riko saluted in the martial style of the Setiadi family.
"Dear grandson, I want to see what skills you've acquired after more than a decade's absence!" declared the Setiadi family patriarch, Ken Setiadi.
"Of course, elder brother, I agree!" he said with pride.
He was confident in his current abilities, with the only concern being that he didn't want to face Alda, whom he was sure to lose against.
"Dendi, step forward!" Ken Setiadi directed his strongest guard.
Dendi was not just a guard, as Ken Setiadi was also a highly skilled combatant.
But before Dendi was defeated, Ken would not personally engage in the conflict.
Woosh...Thump!
Dendi leapt nimbly and landed with a thud in the combat arena at the center of the hall, a deliberate show of formidable combat prowess.
Calmly, Riko climbed onto the platform and assumed his fighting stance.
"Hmm, a fine stance!" Dendi complimented Riko.
"Don't hold back, Dendi!" urged Ken again.
"Yes, Master Ken!" responded Dendi respectfully.
While near the highest seat, a middle-aged man—the current head of the family and Riko's father—merely watched in silence, anticipating the bout.
"Begin..!" the appointed referee announced.
Woosh...Tap, tap, tap..!
Dendi moved in a high-speed zigzag pattern towards Riko's lower defenses.
Bammmm..!
With a powerful kick, Riko sent Dendi flying out of the area, the latter spitting blood as he was flung.
Riko remained standing, leg still raised high in the air.
Prok..Prok..prok..!
Loud applause echoed throughout the grand hall.
Alda gawked at the display. She had expected an epic showdown but was confronted with a single decisive move.
The Setiadi family patriarch was shocked by Riko's movement; the kick's release had been invisible, with Dendi sent flying before Riko resumed his stance. To the untrained eye, it was as if nothing had happened.
