Susan grimaced; the man had behaved like a beast in her body. With each thrust, Arturo used practically all of his strength, plunging deep into her. Their hands intertwined, their bodies glistening with sweat. After a tumultuous sexual encounter in the car, Susan had realized that Arturo was the embodiment of all her first times, while he acted as if it meant nothing.
"Why do I have to leave? I don't know anyone from your family. If anyone should go, it should be Gabriela," Arturo Lacronte hardened his features, giving the woman a glare that was both fierce and overpowering.
"I've already told you what you need to do. What are you still doing in the car?" Arturo was dominant in every aspect of his life. With a heavy heart, Susan obeyed and made her way back to the villa, her body sore.
Once she was in the room, after taking a shower, Susan opened the wardrobe and began carefully arranging Arturo's shirts and pants when the door was suddenly opened.
"I said the beach, not to fill my suitcase with business clothes! Three shirts and pants are enough, more than enough," Arturo exclaimed.
"Why don't you come and do it yourself?" Susan cursed herself deeply for thinking aloud, knowing that facing Arturo's gaze was worse than death.
"Susan Fontaine, you are very brave. You have a very sharp tongue. Do you have the guts to say it again?" Arturo approached her like a lion approaching its prey. Susan had unknowingly stepped back and tripped over a small table behind her. She was about to fall, but Arturo's strong arms prevented it. "Why the hell aren't you paying attention? It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Arturo is angry again."
"A wild beast is stalking me," Susan shrugged.
"Don't you think you should thank me?" Arturo asked, staring at her intensely, a gaze that could burn her.
"Why should I thank you?" Susan pretended to be clueless.
"One of these days, you'll drive me crazy," Arturo said as he walked away from her.
"Then, for the sake of your mental health, give me a divorce," Susan stated, causing Arturo to smirk half-heartedly.
"Dream on," he replied before leaving the room. When night had fallen, Susan went out. Of course, she was hungry, so she needed to get something to eat. Carefully descending the stairs to avoid Arturo bothering her again, she asked, "Are you thinking about running away?" She pursed her lips and looked for Arturo at the other end of the staircase.
"I know perfectly well that I couldn't succeed on your territory," Susan wore an unhappy expression.
"Where are you going?" Arturo asked.
"To the kitchen," Susan descended further.
"Excellent idea. Prepare something delicious," Susan huffed before smiling.
"Dream on that I will make something for you to eat." She walked away, with Arturo following her steps.
"It's your obligation to feed me." Arturo grabbed her arm, causing Susan to wince at the grip. If looks could kill, Arturo would already be dead.
"Can you leave me alone? This could easily end badly," Susan warned.
"No, I can't. Serve me some food," Arturo let go of her and Susan wanted to hit him until he died. "Don't go overboard with the salt."
"Then come and cook it yourself," Susan turned on her heels and headed to the kitchen. Her mouth dropped open when she discovered that the kitchen was spacious and much too big for her liking.
"Every large item I have reminds me of you," Arturo was once again there to punish her with his presence. "It reminds me of your breasts and your hips, they're big." Susan was facing away and only realized Arturo was behind her when a deafening crash reverberated. Her face turned red, and she had no doubt her butt was red too.
"You're shameless!" Susan shouted furiously after Arturo slapped her on her buttocks.
"I'm just a shameless man with my wife, there's nothing wrong with that," Arturo retorted as he grabbed a frying pan.
"I don't want you to ever touch me again; we're only married because..."
"Watch what you say," Arturo interrupted. "I will touch you whenever I want. In fact, your body is more honest than your poisonous tongue. You melt in my arms like jelly; your body warms with my touch."
"The body reacts to caresses, regardless of who gives them," Susan smirked victoriously. Arturo didn't respond, only checked his watch.
"Cook something; you're wasting time. Our flight departs in exactly three hours, plus the yacht trip, so..."
"I won't complain if you leave me," Susan didn't let him finish.
"Let's get to work," Arturo ignored the woman's words and handed her the frying pan. However, it was the man who swiftly showed his cooking skills. Within minutes, he had prepared eggs, a quick and easy dish, but not just for himself—he also offered it to the woman. "I forgot you don't know how to cook."
"Stop talking nonsense!" Susan snatched what he was offering and stormed out of the kitchen.
"If you cook like you make love, I'm done for," Arturo's words clearly taunted the woman, who immediately halted in her tracks and turned around to look at him, smiling briefly.
"The solution is simple, give me a divorce, Arturo."
"The answer is easy, Susan. I won't give you a divorce," Arturo said, no longer paying attention to the woman.
