Episode 10

Grace cries lying beside him and then decides to pick up the book Hamlet by William Shakespeare and continues reading from where she left off last night, saying:

"POLONIUS' ADVICE TO HIS SON LAERTES: 'Give thy thoughts no tongue, Nor any unproportioned thought his act. Be thou familiar, but by no means vulgar. Those friends thou hast, and their adoption tried, Grapple them unto thy soul with hoops of steel; But do not dull thy palm with entertainment Of each new-hatch'd, unfledged comrade. Beware Of entrance to a quarrel; but, being in, Bear't that the opposed may beware of thee. Give every man thine ear, but few thy voice; Take each man's censure, but reserve thy judgment. Costly thy habit as thy purse can buy, But not express'd in fancy; rich, not gaudy; For the apparel oft proclaims the man, And they in France of the best rank and station Are most select and generous, chief in that. Neither a borrower nor a lender be; For loan oft loses both itself and friend, And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry. This above all: to thine own self be true; And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. Farewell; my blessing season this in thee!'

Even before she could continue the story, her tired eyes end up being closed by the deep sleep that in a few minutes she was having.

Robert was smiling and Grace was happy, they were watching a little boy running through the garden, when the boy ends up disappearing, she looks to the sides and doesn't see the little one anymore and when she looks towards Robert, she just sees him disappearing, as if his image were a mirage.

She then wakes up scared, Robert was by her side, still in a coma, Grace gets out of bed, ends up dropping the book she was reading and a photo that was inside the book, also ends up falling on the floor, she picks up both and soon sees the image of a woman next to her husband, the two seemed happy and a simple photo caused immense jealousy in her, for a moment she wanted to tear it up, but preferred to keep it, after all, her husband was in the photo and she didn't want to make a hasty decision.

After keeping the photo inside another book, she gets ready to finally sleep, after dressing properly, next to her husband, she stares at him and wonders if he can hear her, feel her presence, after a few minutes, she ends up falling asleep.

The next morning...

Martin, his brother, Rodrigo and Leonardo were having breakfast when Grace sits down and they all look at her.

"Good morning!" she said without looking at them, taking the little pot of strawberry jam, putting it on the toast.

"How are you feeling Grace?" Martin asked worriedly.

"I'm fine Mr. Martin, thank you for your concern."

The butler appears and soon says:

"Madam, your mother called and asked you to inform her that after lunch, she will come and get you to take you to your family doctor."

"Thank you, Mr. Edgar" said Grace as she poured some juice into her glass.

Rodrigo and Leonardo stared at her, she knew they were looking at her, but she pretended not to care about them.

"Sister-in-law, I really admire your audacity, I suppose when my brother wakes up, you'll say that the baby you're expecting is his, right? Who can guarantee that he is Leonardo's?" Rodrigo asked.

Martin raised his hand to hit his grandson, but she immediately looked at her husband's grandfather and shook her head, stopping him from slapping him.

Grace's gaze was furious, as she looked at Rodrigo, she stood up and said:

"I don't owe you any satisfaction, when my husband wakes up, he will know that the baby I'm expecting is his, unlike you, he is a fair man, now if I were you Rodrigo, I would be very careful, after all, there are no secrets that are not exposed, I still have no proof, but I know what you are capable of doing. And you Leonardo, don't you have your own house? If I were you, I would be very careful who you're walking with, but you know what, I don't care about your life. Excuse me, Mr. Martin, I've lost my appetite, I'm disgusted to have to eat near rotten people."

She leaves the table and the butler admires her more and more, he prepares a tray and takes it to the garden, where Grace was.

"You can't go without breakfast, ma'am, you need a healthy diet now that you're carrying a new life in your womb."

"Mr. Edgar, I don't know if I'm pregnant, it may not be that" she said, sitting on the grass where she was lying.
