"Mrs. Grace, I am an old man, I know you are pregnant, mainly, I know it's Mr. Robert's. You have shown your integrity in recent months and I am also a man who knows things. Grace rushes to the room and tries several times to exercise with her husband, believing that he may show some stimuli.
After two hours of trying, she ends up sitting next to him, frustrated. Leonardo enters the room, looking at her and Robert.
"Grace, you are a beautiful woman, you need to get out of this room, Robert won't wake up anytime soon, there are people who spend years and years without waking up and when he wakes up, he will be an invalid, I heard that he doesn't have any movement in his legs since the accident, are you sure you want to stay married to a man like that?"
Grace looks at Leonardo and slaps her ex-fiance hard, then says:
"He's not an invalid, what you're saying is a matter of justice, I may not have continued with my law degree, but I have the resources to make you pay for your offenses against my husband."
Leonardo grabs Grace's arms tightly and she, who had her back to him, tries to break free, but he was hurting her while holding her tightly, for the first time she felt powerless, the butler who was passing by saw Rodrigo at the door and soon realized something was wrong.
"Where's Leonardo?" Edgar asked.
"He already left with my uncle Martin, he took advantage of the fact that he was going to the company and got a ride", Rodrigo said convincingly.
"And you, sir? Aren't you going to work?"
"Should I answer to you about what I do with my day?" Rodrigo spoke egocentrically, leaving the door of his brother's room.
Leonardo had locked the door when he entered and the butler tried the doorknob, but it was locked, he immediately imagined that Grace had locked it for privacy, as it was not the first time she had done this, he left for the kitchen.
Inside the room, Leonardo smelled her neck and Grace screamed, but the sound was muffled as Leonardo put his hand over her mouth.
Not even her biting his hand made him let go, Grace struggled, but Leonardo seemed willing to withstand all her defenses, she starts to feel sick, he then notices that she is not feeling well and then starts to touch her and Grace begged him to let her go, but he was looking like an animal that only responded to his instincts.
He pulls her to the same bed Robert was in and crying with her head lying on the bed, she begs him to let her go.
Robert wakes up, which leaves Leonardo startled. When he sees him looking at him, he backs away scared, staring incredulously, disbelieving, he opens the door and runs out scared, as if he's seen a ghost.
Grace, who was crying with her head down on the bed, feels that she is no longer being touched, she just feels a hand stroking her hair, she slowly raises her head and Robert, looking at her with his penetrating eyes, asks:
"Who are you?"
"Don't you remember me?" she asks, wiping her tears.
Robert just stares at her, wondering why she was there, in his room.
Grace calls for the butler and soon Edgar appears with the male nurse and they are surprised to see Robert awake, looking at them.
The doctor appears and asks some questions, Grace stays in the hallway, pacing back and forth, while Robert was being examined, her mind was a whirlwind, she didn't expect him not to remember her, it was like being punched in the stomach, the feeling she had was one of deep agony, she found herself lost in her thoughts, when the doctor appeared, asking her to come in.
Grace enters sheepishly and Robert says:
"What are you doing here?"
"Belo, don't you remember me?" Grace asked stammering in a drawn-out and sad voice.
