Martin sees Grace and immediately approaches her, saying:
"You look beautiful, Robert is a very lucky man. I hope he wakes up as soon as possible. If it weren't for you, these past few months giving me strength to believe he will wake up, I would have no more hope. Thank you for everything you've done, Grace. I will never forget how kind and loving you have been."
"You don't need to thank me, Grandpa. Don't lose hope, I have faith that he will wake up soon" she said, hopefully.
Martin goes with Grace to meet Leonardo and says:
"This is my nephew, Leonardo, son of my younger brother."
"Hello, Grace. I see you got what you always wanted, to marry a rich man. I just didn't expect that you would subject yourself to anything for it. I thought you really liked me. My mother has no idea, but she'll be disappointed to know you were just a gold digger."
Martin looks at Grace and then she says:
"Grandpa, I see your nephew doesn't usually visit you, but I'd rather you hear it from me, that I was this man's fiancee, that I caught him in bed with my best friend, and contrary to what he thinks, you know that I don't use the Graham family's money. The problem is that your nephew, despite owning one of the best perfume chains, can't even tell the difference between an expensive perfume and a cheap one, just like he does with his personal and romantic choices."
Grace sees her parents arriving and excuses herself, leaving them alone.
"It's a shame, my nephew. You missed the chance to be married to a woman who, besides being beautiful, is honest and has principles that you will hardly find in another woman, but I wish you luck. By the way, Grace has been married to Robert for almost three months and hasn't spent a single dollar on her, or anything personal that she has the right to spend. The unlimited card I gave her is untouched. She didn't marry Robert for money, at first it was just to save her parents from bankruptcy, which by the way, you caused. She doesn't know, but I've always known you were engaged to her and what you did to her family, especially because of your ego. She was still very kind to you, just leaking that photo of your betrayal. If it were me, with the power she has now, I would destroy you until there's nothing left, so you could see that you traded, as she says, an expensive perfume for a cheap one."
"Grandpa, are you on Grace's side now?" Rodrigo asked, irritated.
"And you, Rodrigo? Are you going to side with Leonardo? Or are you going to respect your sister-in-law?" Martin asked furiously.
"It's not about that, Grandpa. Robert didn't even want to get married, he did something he wouldn't stand for if he were alive."
Martin puts his shoe on Rodrigo's foot and says:
"Your brother is not dead, stop talking about him like that. Leonardo, I'm only not kicking you out of here because you're my brother's son, otherwise you'd never set foot in this mansion again."
He takes his foot off and walks away from his grandson, who is furious and irritated to see that his grandfather is angry with him.
Leonardo starts drinking in frustration. He finally began to realize that he had made a big mistake. His parents didn't approve of him dating Zara, even though he was in love with her, and now he was beginning to realize that Grace was a different kind of woman, that passion might not be enough to make him a happy man, but that he would be happier by his ex-fiancee's side.
Everyone went to dinner and at the table, after the first course was served, Grace started to feel sick and ended up running to the bathroom. Her worried mother went after her.
"Grace, honey, are you okay? I think you're eating very poorly, honey. I thought that since they're rich, you'd be in good health."
"I don't think it was the food, Mom. I've been eating very well, by the way, but my period is late."
"Are you sick, honey? We're going to the hospital immediately" Paola said, holding her daughter's hand.
"Mom, I need to tell you something" Grace said, then told her about her wedding night with Robert.
"Grace, you're pregnant, honey" Paola said, surprised to learn that her daughter was no longer a virgin and might now be expecting a baby with her husband who was in a coma.
They both return to the table and the butler soon realizes that Grace's paleness could only mean that she was pregnant.
Leonardo, after drinking several glasses, gets drunk and says:
"When you bury your husband, I'll marry you, Grace."
She looks at Leonardo and gets up from the table, about to leave, but decides to go back and says:
"You know, Leonardo, you're drunk and you probably don't remember what you said, but I'm going to give you an answer right now. Even if I were single, I wouldn't marry you. And I know that some people at this table want my husband dead, but that's not going to happen. He's not dead, so stop saying or speculating about it."
Leonardo pulls Grace's arm and she punches him, a good one, knocking him out of his chair.
She hugs her parents and leaves, going back to the room where Robert was. The male nurse, seeing her enter, leaves and Grace locks the door, then lies down next to her husband and says:
"I don't want you to die, I don't want you to leave me, I need you, my love. I think I'm pregnant, our baby needs their father. Don't you dare die, keep fighting, I need you to fight, my love. I don't want you to be a memory, I want you to be my husband, my true love."
