A Call for Sel

Sel and Millie went to see ...the gathering that was all rounded up near the wall mount ...at the town hall…

On the Sunday morning, there was a notification on the wall mount of the hall : 

"*This is to inform the people of Velandetine,to not pace or go near the river and the forest area,after 8 o'clock... And Afterwards"

Village Administration*....

Why would a sign of warning…..be placed… in such a beautiful morning… ..

People of the town were in a daze as to why A warning had been placed…suddenly…not allowing them to go near the river...at night... ..

Also they knew that the things are not now normal near that forest...and more and more strange things are happening every few days...So it would be convenient for them to follow the instructions...by the village administration. 

People were talking to each other about the same…

 "hey,did I read that !"

"yess….i did ! 

"why is this so,huh…"

"what is this…??"

"it's very strange…"

Sel and Millie were listening to everyone talking there…and trying to get close to the wall mount...

They were confused at the same time...as they did not understand what they were all talking about...they somehow got close to the wall mount and took a look at the notice…..

"Sel,did you see that?"

"ahh..yup...i did...not to go near the river side during the night…"

"yaa...why is this so...Sel...i really did not understand…"

"yaa,but it must be something important.. that's why they put a warning up here…" 

"Yaa...this is the first time…For they put up warning up in the Velandetine…"

"hmmm…"

Whatever is happening....is seriously can not be called normal now…

The two girls went their way...after hearing the news.On a beautiful morning...with a warm warning...with in a scary town….

The Origami Festival is on the way

And the village has already been started the decorations...the people of the town can really cope with the weirdness of the town...yet the joy of each and every moments…..

Everyone has started making the decorations...of their homes...their shops...or their pets or the farms….

The joy of the upcoming festival can be seen in the glowing eyes of everyone… despite all the creepy things happening...

 the small streets are being decorated almost half...some are starting...while some has already begun...

Both the girls observing the little fringes...hanging up above the streets...as they were passing by...down the same...

Both having their hearts filled with a fresh taste of joys...a new hope of enjoyment…

They were really excited to go to the origami paper festival...and still not caring for the strangeness of the environment...among them...especially Sel. 

Deep inside,Sel was thinking about the warning letter...at the town hall...and what happened in the morning...Was still not going over her...as she knew that something in not right...but there was nothing wrong….

As there is nothing visible that would be called wrong...and only the unexisting experiences that no-one would believe…

What was that...that was wrong...that was strange...that was mysterious...everyone has their experiences...to be shared...but they were all in vain.as there is no back up after them to be proved…

Just mere stories ...and unexplainable experiences…

"Sel,what are you going to wear for origami festival?Did you already think about it? " Millie asked. 

"haa...not yet..and you?Did you think about what you are going to wear? "Sel said. 

"No...not yet…Have you asked aunty about it?" 

"ahmm...No..not yet…but I am thinking about it "

"By the way,i am thinking to wear my yellow dress that I once wore on your birthday… Remember Sel. 

"yaa...i remember…"

"Have you thought about anything yet…"

"Hmm...lets see...i don't know yet…" 

"Sel,why are you so absent minded now… what happened…Still thinking about the thing in the morning...the noises from the shower...huh…"

"Hmm...she said,taking a big sigh…

"Yaa...You are right...Millie,isn't it strange that...in the morning I heard strange noises and on the same day,Village administration put a warning notice in the town...Is it really something has been going on in our town and we are not realising anything ...till yet.

"Sel,you are thinking too much...there is nothing strange going on...in our town...See everything is fine,"Millie assured Sel. 

"I hope you are right...and I am just over thinking...but I really think that something is missing...we can not see it right now...but something is not really normal…" 

The aura of the town does let some to feel it's presence...while some really remains unaware...of what is going on around them.. It is invisible yet...always seeking its dominance in the aroma of their souls...and Sel was really the perfect soul...somehow..

Always lying in the air...of the town...with the breathing out...breathing in...waiting for it's special someone ...from a thousand years...🥀

Girls were passing from the bridge side...to reach the town market...and somehow got stuck again...at the very charming and amazement of the river bridge... 

As they were tired and needed a little rest...millie wanted to take a rest and have a drink…

She asked,"Sel,why don't we just sit for a while…"as she saw the bench on the bridge side where they used to hang out the most on the river side...so she could not help herself asking to sit and rest as they were walking for a very long time...

"But,we have to go to the town market...if we stay here...we will get scolded… 

"Come on, Sel,i am tired...we can rest here for a while...I can't walk more now...i am really tired...lets go na...please…we will stay for a very short time…" 

"ahh...okay...fine...let's go then…"she said as she knew that Millie was tired and that she was too. That is why she agreed to sit down and relax for a while at the bridge premises.

They both went in the top of the bridge,put their bicycles to stand on the corner and got sit for a while

           they were never really bored to hang out...on the bridge and look at the amazing sunshine...from there… ☀ 

Both of them spent...almost all their childhood playing across the shores...of the river and that is now contained in their habitats...which they are never getting over for...actually…

"Millie, it's a great day...right...without thinking about the other things...right…"Sel said...as she gazed out at the scenery over the beautiful river. 

"yaa...right...it is beautiful...we are really lucky to have spent our childhood here...in this little paradise…"Millie said. 

"Despite the crazy things...that we have listened here...it is a good place that we live in...right Millie… 

"Sometimes I feel really lucky...to have this place as my birth place...i have really found many inner Morales here...that I am really grateful for...and for that I really feel myself lucky…" Sel explained her heart out. 💞

"ya...me too…cheers,Sel…"Millie said excitedly. 

"But Millie, don't you feel that there is something we should be account of…"

"Haah...what do you mean..?"Millie asked. 

"I mean...that there should be something that we don't know yet...but i really feel that soon we will be encountered with something new…" 

"haa...Sel,I really could not understand you sometimes…"and she starts laughing…

Sel gave a short smile too...and they went back to chatting and talking with each other. 

There is always a sort of connection between this Irish girl and something...that she subconsciously knows ...or pretends to know...and that she always feels that she belongs to somewhere else…

Like someone waits for her...from far away.. like she can feel someone breathing...in the air...of her breath…

And someone wants to include every part of her into itself…

It was in the veins of them to unite...by hooks...or by crooks…

It was a series of countless lives...that made up together...to make them together...into each other ...for another thousands of years… 

"It's time to go…"Sel said.

"Ohh...come on,Sel, let's stay some more..." Millie said.

"No,You said we will rest for a short time.. It's almost an hour now...let's go now…" 

"Sel,sometimes you act like a mom…"Millie commented by sitting up and taking off her bicycle.

"Yaa...right..you can think of me as your mom...it would definitely be great.." Sel said as she moved ahead to take her bicycle.

Both of them moved up...to leave the place.. And as they reached out to leave...Sel was been called. 

"Sel….."

A strange whisper is heard on...in her ears.. suddenly...and she could not help herself looking back...and see who called her just now…

She looked back and tried to see who called her name just as she turned down...

But she found nothing...there was no one calling her... No one was standing there...nor anyone she knew... 

She was in a daze that ...who called her just as she turned...was there was really someone called...or she really got another illusion…

She looked out there but found no one calling her…

Millie asked, "Sel, what are you doing there,come on let's go now...you were saying that we should go...and now look who is wasting time…"

"Millie,did you hear something"

"what…"

"Like someone just called me now…"

"No,i did not" Millie replied.

"Really,i mean you really did not hear anything "Sel asked curiously.

"Sel,are you daydreaming...who will call you here...at this hour...there is no-one here…"

"Yaa,but i really just heard someone calling my name…"

"Sel,I think you are thinking too much… these days...that is why you are having multiple illusions..haha.."Millie said jokingly. 

Sel was really sure that she heard a whisper..calling her name...but that was really strange for her to find...that there is nobody...and that no-one really called her just now…

It got real weird...and she turned to go back…

"Sellll… .." 

As she reaches down the edge…a harsh sound crashed down her ears…from behind her... A hard strong and slow whisper...that was mysterious in its nature...yet seemed to be a thousand years old...calling her name.. and seemed to be filled with a thirst of getting her...as soon as it could be... 

Sel was really amazed...and confused… and scared...at the same time.She was sure this time...that someone really did call her...and she shouted immediately,"Who is this… who is this,calling my name…?"

Millie was really shocked to hear her and said, "Sel, what are you doing...who are you shouting too..?" 

She said, "Millie, there was really someone calling my name out...i am not lying...really "

"Sel, there is no one here and nobody called you...right now...i was here...i did not hear anything…"

"But...i am not lying…"

"Let's go Sel,we should go home now…I think you should take some rest...lets go now...come people are watching us…"Millie said. 

But that was certain that she heard someone and that someone did call her...and that it was like someone wanted her to not leave at all and stay…just stay here...with the moment of this time…

She could feel that...clearly and for a moment...she do not want to leave either... But stay and find out who was it...and why he is calling her…and who is this someone who wanted her to stay with him...forever...💜 ❤
