The Empty Room

"Sel clearing herself up , for it was a tiring  day… ..from the laze of the very day … getting from rush to the tenderness… .. getting from hot to the warmth…..soothing her mind to the fullness… ..Of the Gold Spirit… .. 

As all of her worries , goes down with the glowing water… .. Leaving her with the glow of itself …..

  Sel came out …..to see the kitty, soundly slept in her bed. She put up her dress… and about to go down…...

" Sel, dinner is ready, come down, " her mom said. 

" Okay, I am coming,'' she replied. 

She got herself ready and went down the room…..for the dinner….. They had dinner as usual and were preparing to sleep soon. 

Sel, " mom , I am taking the food for kitty upstairs. " 

"Okay, fine, Good night," her mom said. 

She went upstairs…..with the food…..and taking with a slight smile on her face….. for the kitty will be so happy with the food. 

      Actually this kitty…..her name is Ming, met her when she was, like,five years old…in her backyard…when it accidentally got into the garden and Sel saw her. 

She could not resist her,  getting into the garden from then on, finally it got a home....

A sweet home..... 💕

Her mother, did not agree to take her up, as a pet, but looking at the undeniable bond between the two of them, she could not make them apart… any longer... and then finally agreed to give it a home… .. 😉

" Ming, I got your food, come and eat it," Sel said. 

The kitty got suddenly up, and came up,in a hurry, to have it's food…..She usually does not like to eat the home -cooked food, but as soon as its by Sel , she can have anything.

They are a sweet pair… .. 

             But don't know why, but the kitty usually ends up in the empty room upstairs, during nights... .. And often found out, sitting on the door of that empty room... 

          Sel and her mom, often checks on that room… to see if it's anything there… that is attracting the kitty... But never found anything….. 

" Eat and sleep early, do not pace around, during the night…. Okay, " pats her head and went to prepare the night bed. 

Sel goes to make up the sheets of her bed… for the nights and profoundly arranges for the kitty as well ...as the surrounding gets really cool ,during the nights, of the town. This is usually, her daily routine. 

She closes the lights, gently, to give out a refreshing aroma…in the coldness of the… ..of the deep and sound Valley….. 

There was utter silence,in the heart of the whole valley…. Seemed to, the whole town sharing the same being… ..with one another… as the singularity of a cold heart….. 

There was a mystery ,in the air of the whole town….may be coz it was a far away village…or because it has a mystery hidden... inside of its roots… 

Sel,got down on the bed and wrapped herself…in the blanket...in the breezy air…of the night ...being in a state of romance ,

with his own…..🥀

She says, "good night, kitty , sleep well," to the kitty… and closes down her eyes… to relax the little pupils ,to have a daydream ... Of the night… 

Soon, it got silence,all over, in the whole town. Everyone fell,deep inside, in the sound sleep…

Eyes of Sel, with the time,being passed, gone deep down...In the utter imagination… within her mind…..

It was Midnight. 

Soon, it started to blow air, heavily,in the village.

It was around three o'clock, at midnight… when the door of the Sel 's room,seems to open, with a slow pace… .. 

Out of being locked from the inside, the door started opening… the Sel being soundly slept, did not notice… anything at all… ..

Ming suddenly wake up,it stared at the door and started to go ,ahead to the door ...which was slightly opened…. 

It was going slowly,with small steps, towards the door…. It went outside the door ...to look outside ,as the door was opened. 

It was a still night.

The Ming got out,from the room and he was still pacing alone, in the bare balcony… …

It found nothing ,outside the room… ..but the door was still opened… .. 

The kitty was still going , towards the empty lane…. About some time, it started to follow the route of that empty room upstairs …..without any reasons… ..a strange kind of attraction ,led him to the upstairs ...and it was just following…. 

The kitty, reached the doorstep of that empty room, which was usually locked, most of the times…. 

Ming was hearing an unsaid sound… ..it was seeing ,the most appropriate strangeness …. Of the surrounding… .that the others can not see… … 

It was looking at the door…. And not responding anything… may be…. It was attracted …..

The heavy air, blowing up, outside, giving out the sudden chills… ..the curtains were moving around… ..there was nothing but the sound of winds… ..

As soon as it is, Sel got her eyes weakenly awake… during the midnight… ..she got up from the bed… .and stood up along the window… .. 

It was a cloudy night… ..with storms of dust and winds in it… ..she tried to look around more… .and more… but got nothing… .and tried back to sleep… ..

Moreover, she wanted to have a look at the kitty and so turned down to the side, and had a look, if it's slept or not …..

She found Ming, not on its bed… so she look around… ..to see where it was….. But literally not found anywhere… .

Sel had to up, and turn on the lights, and see if it's here or not… .. She look up for it, but Ming was nowhere in the room… ..

She thought ,at first, that it's surely got out again….. She got out to look for where it is, again… .. She put on her warm coat, and got to search for her… ..

Sel looked outside, in the balcony and every inch of the veranda… . Down the tables and chairs… .up above the cupboards… but Ming was not in… ..

She tried to look for her, if it went out the window… .but thought it was not possible… just because almost all of the windows are closed enough… ..to let it go out… ..

She was just thinking and searching for Ming, soon she just looked at the stairs… ..and clicked if it is gone up again… …

Sel tired enough, but still got herself up and manages to go upstairs and see… .

Sel ,"Ming are you up there? ," saying in a low voice, so as to not wake her mom up, she got up in the way that room, and tried to go close further ….. 

She got near the gateway of the room, and saw Ming was sleeping next to the door… ..

Sel got close to the Ming and picked her up… .. " Ming, are you okay, how did you always end up here, huh… ." 

" Go… ..let's go back… to our room… ." cuddling her gently with her soft hands and putting her inside, In her coat… .. 

" You are being more and more naughty than you were before… ..it is not good….. okay… .. Do not do that again… .." 

Sel went back to her room and closed the door tightly. She made sure that if it is locked… .. She placed the kitty, next to her in her bed… ..and covered her up gently with the blanket… .. 

" Ming, there is cold out there, you know it right..... you should not hand out like that ,you will get cold other wise… .. how many times will I have to tell you..... huh.... " , She switched off the lights… ..put her coat next to the bed and get down in the bed… ...

" Sleep well, Ming… . Good night, " she said, by laying down next to it… ....and hugging her a little…..

They both slept soundly… ..and peacefully..... without having an idea, of what was happening..... And the storm of dust and winds finally got stopped , meanwhile......

It became a night full of stars again… .. With a breeze… ..a softness of its own… .. And a moon full… ..in The Star studded sky… .with the sound of the owls… ...🌙
