Jungkook hesitated for a moment before speaking.... carefully choosing his words.... “Halmeoni… there’s something else...."

His grandmother raised an eyebrow... already sensing that he was about to say something she wouldn’t like.... “What is it, my child....”

He took a deep breath.... “I can’t live here with you.... It’s not safe...”

Her eyes widened slightly...and a deep frown settled on her face.... “Not safe?” she repeated... her voice laced with concern....“Jungkook-ah, what are you saying...?”

He sighed... squeezing her hand gently.... “I have security now.... You know how my life is… I have people watching over me all the time.... If I stay here... it will only bring unwanted attention to this place.... I don’t want you to be put in any kind of danger..."

His grandmother’s lips pressed into a thin line.... “So... you are saying that after all these years... you come back… but you won’t stay here....?”

Jungkook shook his head quickly.... “No, that’s not what I mean... Halmeoni... I want to live with you.... That’s why I want you to come stay with me instead.....”

Her expression softened slightly... but she still looked unsure.... “Jungkook…” she started... her voice hesitant....

“Please Halmeoni...” he interrupted gently....“I’ve bought a house here.....It’s comfortable... and most importantly, safe. .. I don’t want to be away from you.... I want us to be together..just like before.....”
His grandmother was quiet for a long moment...her gaze fixed on his as if searching for something....Then, with a small sigh...she finally nodded....

I don’t like the idea of leaving this house....” she admitted... glancing around the small but cozy home she had lived in for so long.... “But… if this is what will keep you safe....then I will come with you...."

Jungkook’s face lit up with a bright smile.... “Really?”

She huffed...shaking her head fondly.... “Aish, how can I say no when you look at me like that...?”

Laughing... Jungkook pulled her into a gentle hug....“Thank you Halmeoni....It means so much to me..."

She patted his back softly.... “I just hope you know what you’re doing...Jungkook-ah,” she murmured....
