Clearing his throat, Yogi caught the attention of Arneta, prompting the entwined couple to break their kiss.

"Sorry, I forgot you were here," Anna said with embarrassment, realizing someone else was in the room.

Yes, her longing for her husband had made her lose control and kiss him in front of someone else without notice.

"It's quite alright, Madame, it happens often," Yogi remarked, which only increased Anna's mortification.

Indeed, the couple always shared a kiss upon greeting each other, especially since they had been apart for a while, with the master’s wife having only recently arrived in Jakarta after delaying her visit.

"You always know what to say," Anna laughed. Her laughter ceased, however, when she caught sight of the unfamiliar woman in the room. "Who is she?" she inquired, puzzled, as she did not recognize the woman at all.

Hearing his wife's question, Lio looked over his shoulder at Arneta, who stood frozen in her spot.

"That is Arneta," Lio replied, gesturing for his daughter’s biological mother to come closer.

Reluctantly, Arneta moved toward the couple. She had just realized that the woman Lio had been kissing was his lawful wife, recognizing her as the same person from the wedding photograph in the central living area.

"Arneta?" Anna furrowed her brow, pondering, trying to recall the name her husband had mentioned.

"Yes, she is Arneta. She's both the nanny and the woman who gave birth to my daughter," Lio stated plainly, without observable emotion.

"What?" Anna’s shock was palpable as she gazed at her husband in disbelief.

Not only Anna was stunned, but Arneta too was taken aback, having assumed the man would hide their relationship.

"This isn't funny, darling, you must be joking?" Anna said, forcing a laugh.

She found her husband’s supposed jest tasteless and infuriating. Had she been faint-hearted, such news could have killed her on the spot—learning that her husband had another woman and furthermore, that this woman had borne him a child.
