"Yah..." Nadine sighed half-heartedly. "I wonder if our new boss is old and bald," she said with a chuckle.

Arneta laughed along, imagining the face of the new company owner as described by Nadine.

"Hey, you two! You're paid to work, not to gossip!" Hengky said sarcastically.

Arneta and Nadine fell silent and returned to their respective desks. Arneta, who was about to sit down, looked at Hengky standing beside her. The head of the finance department stared at her with his usual interest.

"Neta, have you heard that Mr. Candra will be transferred to Paris?"

Arneta only nodded lazily. Honestly, she felt uncomfortable talking to him because he always flirted with her, even once asking how much he would have to pay to accompany him like she did Candra.

"Soon your sugar daddy will be gone, and I hope you'll consider my offer to become my second wife. If you agree, I'll pay whatever you ask," Hengky said with a smile, looking at Arneta's beautiful figure, resembling a model, despite already having a daughter.

"Mind your words!" Arneta snapped, trying to contain her anger. "Remember, I'm not a prostitute like you've always thought!"

Hengky laughed mockingly and reached out to touch Arneta's pretty face, which she immediately pushed away.

"Oh come on, everyone knows you're Mr. Candra's mistress. So there's no need to be ashamed to admit it."

Arneta, not wanting to argue with a man who clearly already had a wife, quickly grabbed her phone and showed it to Hengky.

"If you keep bothering me, I won't hesitate to report your actions to Mr. Candra," Arneta threatened.

Fearful of the threat, Hengky reluctantly left Arneta. He still had some sense left and didn't want to lose his job just because he bothered a woman.

"Cheap woman!" Hengky cursed before walking away from Arneta.

Arneta could only sigh upon hearing the man's curse. She had been called a cheap woman more than once. Even in her own neighborhood, many people looked at Arneta with derision because of her status as a single parent. Combined with her beauty and attractive body, it only fueled jealousy among women and men who always looked at her with interest.

In the past\, Arneta would have gladly accepted any handsome and wealthy men to satisfy her hyperactive ** needs. But now\, things had changed. Since giving birth\, her time was consumed by work and raising Ivy\, making it possible for her to control her ** desires.

Two weeks passed quickly. The day had come for the arrival of their new boss, who would replace Candra as he left for Paris, handing over his duties to the company owner.

"Damn, I'll definitely be late for work like this," Arneta cursed silently, focusing on driving through the traffic jam.

Today was an important day, as the new CEO would visit for the first time. But Arneta was stuck in traffic while taking Ivy to school.

"Mom, can I meet Daddy Candra when I come home from school?" Ivy asked, looking up at her mommy.

"We'll see, sweetheart. Mommy's afraid Daddy is busy."

Indeed, in front of Ivy, Arneta referred to Candra as Daddy. Since he had always called himself Ivy's father, her little daughter had gotten used to calling Candra Daddy.
