Episode 11

Clenching his fists, Alexander Williams struggled to contain his fury, aware that Felipe, as a man, understood his simmering rage perfectly well.

"Mrs. Williams, I'd be delighted, but I doubt your husband would appreciate it," Felipe muttered inwardly, his smile hidden.

"Not at all, right, my love?" she said, her gaze fixed on Alexander, who was about to object when she cut him off, "there's no issue; now please, would you take me with you?" Valentina asked eagerly.

"In that case, I must first retrieve the architectural blueprints."

"It doesn't matter; I'll accompany you. It sounds very interesting, Mr. Gutenberg."

"With that settled, let's take a taxi since I left my car at the company."

"Perfect, farewell, dear husband, see you at home," Valentina gave him a cruel glance, and Felipe moved to hail a taxi while Alexander grasped her hand, causing Valentina's heart to flutter.

"Leaving without saying goodbye?" he drew her close by the waist.

"What do you want, Alexander? Stop bothering me," she rolled her eyes.

"Dare to roll your eyes and challenge me, Valentina?" he whispered, his lips inches from hers.

"Don't bother..." she couldn't finish because he claimed her lips with a kiss that was far too addictive and tempted her to be tamed.

Valentina bit her lower lip hard, but he held on, kissing her even more fiercely, and Felipe, upon seeing them, turned his focus back to the taxi.

He finally let her go. "Idiot," she shot him a furious glance, and Alexander bit his lower lip sensually, where she had bitten hers.

"I'm watching you, so be careful."

"You should be ashamed to say that, but I won't argue. Go to hell — to the damned inferno."

Alexander smiled, and Valentina shook her head, walking toward Felipe, who waited with the taxi.

"Felipe, you son of a bitch, you'll pay for this," Alexander's arrogance and cold gaze took over as he saw them depart with his wife.

Receiving a phone call, Alexander spoke with his friend, Milan.

"I don't want to talk right now, Milan."

"I need to see you; we need to talk."

"I can't, too much work! I'll call you later," Alexander hung up and dialed his security team.

"Are you following her?"

"Yes, sir, but they're heading to the condominium."

"Don't take your eyes off her; call me if she takes too long."

"As you command, boss."

Alexander adjusted his suit and headed to his car, where his chauffeur awaited with the door open.

...

"Alexander is jealous."

"No, I don't think so. He's the kind of man who can't stand a woman making her own decisions. He believes he has a right over me."

"Valentina, I truly admire you. Not only are you beautiful, you're clever and intelligent."

"Thank you, Felipe, for playing along. I know it's awkward."

"Don't worry. I like you because you're hot, but I won't intrude where there's no space."

Valentina smiled nervously.

"Don't worry, if you want revenge on your husband, I'll help. Who's better than me? I'm handsome!" Felipe grinned charmingly.

Valentina laughed heartily. "I have no doubts, and it seems you enjoy seeing Alexander upset."

"The thing is... life is strange. Those who have don't appreciate, and those who don't want to get in order to appreciate."

"You're absolutely right. I must admit I love him with all my strength, but I want to reach a concrete point with all this," she sighed. "If things are meant to be, may God help me understand."

"Don't worry, I'm here for you, but don't fall for me," Felipe's smile was infectious.

"You're incredible, Felipe. Thank you for your friendship. Please don't see me with different eyes."

"Truly, you are a beautiful lover, a woman who... I'd rather not speak of here. But I'm not one for serious relationships; I prefer to enjoy myself here and there."

Valentina's eyes widened, her face flushed. The car stopped, and she elegantly stepped out after Felipe paid the taxi driver.

"This is my home, welcome."

"Thank you for your kindness."

"Anything you would like to ask?" Felipe noticed Valentina's pensiveness.

"Yes. I want to know why men are womanizers?"

"Shall we have a glass of wine as we talk?"

"Yes, please, and I don't want to go back to the company."

"Well, I've done what I needed to today, so let's talk in the garden."

In the garden, each holding a glass of wine, Felipe addressed her question. "In my case, it's because I dislike routine. I enjoy passionate encounters without the entanglements or responsibilities. You understand? I like to be free. Besides, the right woman hasn't come along to capture my heart. So why be married and disappoint? Infidelity happens by choice, nobody is forced. Yes, the flesh is weak, Valentina, but it takes willpower. You ask because of Alexander, I imagine. But don't bow your head, never drop your guard. I know yours was a marriage of necessity, and many speak of it. You're beautiful, with a kind soul. My opinion: make him suffer till he can't stand it, then leave him."

"I can't... I love him, Felipe."

"Yes, you can. Nobody dies of love, obviously. If he leaves his mistress — a real tramp, I had her once in a club, but Alexander won't believe it. He's swayed by external beauty, because she has a deadly weapon."

"And what's that?"

"She manipulates with her beauty. To be frank, you're much more attractive, Valentina, with all due respect. If you weren't married, or if you no longer loved him, I'd take you to my room, undress you fully, and take you hard while you looked into my eyes to see your pleasure — and more — to watch your chest heave with my thrusts."

"Filipe!" Exclaimed Valentina, utterly shocked, and downed her glass of wine in one go.

"I'm sorry... that's just who I am. I'm a gentleman, but a naughty one," Felipe teased before taking a sip of wine.

"It's good to be clear, but to say those things about me is downright frightening."

Amused, Felipe laughed heartily.

"Don't worry," his laughter under control, "my advice is to be a lady in society, but a vixen in bed within your home."

"Hey, you're crazy!"

"Don't get all worked up, it's just between friends. But seriously, do you want to learn?"

"Honestly, no," Valentina smiled.

"Great. Do you want to make that man jealous?"

She nodded.

"I'll help you, but I want something in return."

"Nothing in life is free," she crossed her arms.

"So, do you want my help?"

"First, I want to know what you want."

...

"How in hell is she still at that bastard's house?" Alexander slammed his desk, unable to stop thinking about work.

"Do you want me to call your wife?"

"No!" Alexander hung up the call.

He tried calling Valentina, but it went straight to voicemail.

"Damn it, Valentina! You won't make a fool of me!"

Alexander set his phone down and took a deep breath, fighting the urge to smash it against the wall.

His phone rang, and without looking at the caller ID, he answered.

"Decided to call, have you?" Alexander sneered.

"What are you talking about?" Lore's voice brought him back to reality.

"Never mind... Why are you calling?"

"I don't like your tone, Alexander."

"Sorry... What do you want, dear?"

"I apologize, but my parents are coming home tonight and they urgently want to see you. So you must come."

"I can't, Lore! I'm swamped with work."

"My patience with your work is wearing thin! You will come tonight, and don't you dare stand me up, Alexander, or I'll leave you," Lore laid down the ultimatum.

Night fell, and Alexander had arrived at the Williams mansion, still no sign of Valentina, which infuriated him. Nevertheless, he couldn't let Lore down and dressed for that wretched dinner.

He tried Valentina's number again, this time it went to voicemail.

"Fury..." seethed Alexander.

Upon reaching Lore's building, he called his security again.

"What the hell is happening with my wife?"

"Sir, only a pizza delivery has been made, but there's been no sign of them leaving. Should I proceed?"

"I want you to do the following..."

"My love, so glad you made it," Lore interrupted, coming over to kiss him.

"Mr. Williams?" The security was left hanging, waiting for orders.

"Come on, we mustn't keep my parents waiting. You're already ten minutes late, Alexander."

"I can't, Lore," he broke away from her.

She looked at him, astonished.
