Mr. Williams, you are not the heir— words that Alexander is slowly processing.

Mrs. Williams watches her son's reaction. "Is this a damn joke, right?" Alexander glares at him

"Sir, before his death, your father called me, where he immediately ordered me to draft a document leaving his inheritance to Mrs. Valentina Williams."

Alexander stands up, Valentina is perplexed.

"That's not possible!!" Alexander points at the lawyer, furious.

"Lawyer, there must be a mistake, Mr..." Mrs. Williams intervenes.

"That's right, I am a witness to the decision my late husband made," the lawyer informs.

"Is everyone against me?" Alexander snorts and snatches the document from the lawyer.

"That's just a copy," the lawyer informs in case Alexander dares to tear it up. "Your assets pass to Mrs. Valentina, as well as the construction company you manage, Mr. Williams. You can continue as the head, but Mrs. Valentina will sign any work contract or paperwork related to the construction company."

"This is a lie!" Alexander turns to his mother.

"Son, lower your voice, your father just died, let's have respect."

"How can you tell me that, mother? You are not showing respect for me by leaving all the assets to that—" words directed at Valentina.

Mrs. Williams stands up.

"That is your wife! And I will not allow you to disrespect her anymore. I am aware of both of your situations, and since the lawyer knows what he needs to do, I know perfectly well that you have a lover and all this time, you have disregarded Valentina's love."

"I am your son! You should be on my side!" Mrs. Williams slaps her son, although it breaks her heart, she cannot applaud his mistakes.

"I will come back later because you need to sign a permit as soon as possible," the lawyer leaves.

"Valentina, tell me what Alex means by those three months? And who is Felipe?"

"I will tell you everything, Mom Williams, but please don't get upset."

Alexander Williams, very frustrated, goes in search of Lore, he needs someone to listen to him. When he arrives at his building, he immediately goes up.

He can't stand that Valentina now has everything that belongs to him, as he has also worked hard to maintain and grow the construction company.

"My friend, she was the one who sought me out," Milan victimizes himself.

"Shut up, you bastard!" Alexander grabs him by the collar and lifts him off the bed.

"No, Alex, please!" Lore pleads for them not to fight, but it is impossible for Alexander to control himself. It is exactly what he needed to release his anger because he began to punch Milan, blow after blow, not giving Milan any time to defend himself. This is Alexander's flaw, if he fights, he fights until he sees blood, and with how angry he is, knowing that his inheritance was given to his wife and that his girlfriend, the woman he was going to leave everything for, has been unfaithful, he unleashes all his fury on Milan.

Lore is scared seeing him like a beast, she stands up and quickly looks for her robe.

"You're going to kill him!" she shouts, and their neighbors can hear those screams.

But Alexander doesn't stop, he continues to beat him.

"Leave him!" Lore shouts with all her strength.

Someone knocks on the door, and Lore runs for help. When she opens it, she is amazed to see Valentina.
