Arriving home, they were greeted by Mark's father, who made them take a bunch of boxes to the back of the store.

Mark looked at Lorenzo, laughing: "Look what the great Lorenzo Maximilian needs to do today, poor thing."

Lorenzo placed the box with the others, smiling: "This is what I need to do to keep what is mine close," and held him by the waist, kissing him.

Anya entered without knocking, seeing them kissing: "Damn, you're going to make me jealous like this."

Mark looked at her, smiling: "Don't be silly."

Lorenzo continued hugging Mark: "I don't think you should be jealous of us, after all, you and Willy have been together a lot lately, or do you think I don't know, girl?"

Anya smiled, looking at her brother: "You're so nosy, and don't stay here too long, or you'll end up getting caught by our parents, you perverts," and she left laughing.

Mark pulled away from Lorenzo, rubbing his eyes: "See, you're only getting me into trouble."

Lorenzo looked at him, smiling: "I don't do that to you, my love, I just want to protect you from everything and everyone."

Mark looked at him, smiling: "I think you're watching too many soap operas. Now, come on, let's help Dad, and no funny business," and he left first.

Anya was helping her mother set the table: "Hey, you lazybones, come here and help set the table, or you'll stay glued to your boyfriend."

Mark looked at her: "Crazy girl, Mom is right there."

The mother heard and came smiling with a pot in her hand: "Listen here, you two, I just want you both to be happy and nothing more, my loves."

Mark hugged her and kissed her face: "I love you, Mom, and don't worry about people, it's not Anya."

Anya smiled and joined the hug: "You certainly don't need to worry, Mom, after all, you and Dad raised us well."

The mother kissed both of their faces: "My beautiful babies."

Lorenzo saw them: "You are a beautiful family."

The mother looked at him, smiling: "But now you're family too, we may be a little different, but we're happy."

Lorenzo smiled, looking at them: "Your family is beautiful, mother-in-law."

She smiled, laughing up at him: "You're already part of this family, my boy," and hugged him.

Lorenzo hugged her back, feeling a little strange because he had never received such an affectionate hug from his mother or father or anyone else in his family, and then he hugged her back: "Thank you so much, ma'am, for this hug."

She kissed him, smiling: "You don't need to thank me, my love, now you're part of this family, whether you like it or not you'll have to get used to our ways."

Mark looked and smiled: "I told you so."

The father then came carrying some small boxes: "So this is where you were hiding, leaving this poor old man to close the store alone."

Anya went to her father to help with the box: "You're such a drama queen."

The mother went to him, kissing him: "Don't be silly, old man, now let's have dinner."

So, they all had dinner and talked and had a lot of fun, and when they were done, everyone did their part.

Soon after, Mark went to his room, feeling tired: "I think you'll have to go home alone."

Lorenzo looked at him, smiling: "I see, but don't worry about me, you can sleep here at your parents' house tonight. And one more thing you need to know, I'll need to travel for a few days, but I'll leave some security with you and your family, and please promise me you'll stay away from my brother and the investigation."

Mark sat down, looking at him: "All right, I promise, but what are you going to do and where are you going?"

Lorenzo kissed him, smiling: "Don't worry, I won't get into any accidents this time, and remember I love you. Now you go to sleep, and I'm leaving, I'll see you when I get back," and he left.

Mark sat on the bed, took a deep breath, went to his computer, and started looking at some photo files, which he looked at carefully, along with his notes, and separated the most important ones, putting them in a new hidden file, and only then did he turn it off and go to sleep.

Lorenzo was already in his car, talking to someone on his cell phone and looking furious, and told the driver to go as fast as possible.

The driver then sped up the car, looking in the rearview mirror.
