Part of me wants to apologise, but the words refuse to come.

That's enough. Arguing won't get us anywhere.

We're all exhausted and stressed.

We could stand to get a good night's rest.

Then plan out our next step with clear hands.

Nicole's words smother the last embers of my anger.

(She's right. I am exhausted.)

Phoebe

(It's not like me to confront people. It must be the stress getting to me.)

Phoebe

(Father would be appalled if he saw me speak this way.)

(I hope he's safe, wherever he is.)

Cameron clenches her jaw, and gives Nicole a stiff nod.

Nicolette

Good. That settles it.

Nicolette

We'll meet infront of the church tomorrow at noon.

Nicolette

If we all put our heads together, I'm confident we'll be able to find a solution.

Quinn

*claps delightfully*

Quinn

What fun! The finest minds in town, all bent on one purpose!

Cameron

Who invited you?

Quinn

Myself, ofcourse!

Quinn

You didn't think you'd get rid of me that easily, did you?

Cameron

I don't think your puppetry or stories will be of much help.

Cameron

I'd rather not have you involved.

Nicole lays a hand on Cameron's shoulder.

Nicolette

Let her help, Cameron. She clearly wants to.

Phoebe

(I feel like saying something too, but on the contrary, I don't want to annoy Cameron any further.)

Phoebe

(Should I defend Quinn?)

Phoebe

I think Quinn can help us.

Phoebe

She must know a lot of people through her shows in the town square.

Phoebe

She can probably gather information more quickly than we can.

Cameron glowers at Quinn, who wags a finger at her.

Quinn

The lady makes a good point.

Quinn

I know a lot of things, and I know where and how to learn even more things.

Cameron

Fine. She can help.

Cameron

If you'll excuse me, I still have work to do. Good night.

With that, she disappears into the shack.

Quinn

*rolls her eyes*

She's a tough nut to crack, isn't she?

She flashes me a grin and bows low.
