Cameron furrows her brow at me.

Did it scratch or injure you?

Phoebe

No, it only frightened me.

Nicolette

I arrived in time to cast a beacon spell.

Nicolette

Her father is missing as well. He's the inventor.

Cameron

The inventor? What does he have to do with this?

Nicolette

There might not be a connection. But the timing is odd.

Cameron wipes sweat from her brow and sighs.

Cameron

I don't like this. We're having enough trouble keeping this under wraps.

She jerks her head in my direction.

I don't need her babbling her mouth and causing a panic.
