Priestess, some assistance would be nice!

Nicole rushes forward and quickly grabs the woman's legs.

She shrieks and gnashes her teeth, spittle flying from her lips.

I stay by the entrance, reluctant to get any closer to the woman.

Phoebe

(It's as if she's lost all get humanity, just like the man who attacked me.)

Phoebe

(What in the world is causing this animalistic behaviour?!)

Phoebe

(I've never read about anything like this!)

With Nicole's help, Cameron manages to sedate the woman.

Her movements slow and, a minute later she stills.

Cameron sets the syringe aside and checks the woman's pulse.

She then stands and fiddles with the ties of her mask.

Cameron

That should keep her down for a couple of hours.

She removes her mask revealing sharp features and a jagged scar.

I smother a gasp

Phoebe's POV

(How did a doctor get such a scar?)

The big scar is on her right cheek.

(Is that why she wears a mask?)

Phoebe

(She certainly is gorgeous though, despite her horrid bedside manner.)

Phoebe

I needed you an hour ago.

Nicolette

I needed to help my friend, else I would have come sooner.

Cameron eyes me up and down.

Phoebe

(She has such an intense gaze.)
