I clench my fists in a sudden rush of anger.

Phoebe

(Does she always presume the worst in people?!)

Phoebe

I wouldn't do that!

Cameron doesn't look convinced.

Phoebe

(So distrustful.)

I turn my attention to the woman.

Her hands and throat are discolored.

Phoebe

Is she...Is she in pain?

Cameron and Nicole share a look.

Cameron

I can only assume she is, but she won't be for long.

Cameron

This sickness is burning through their bodies like a wildfire.

Cameron

They all die soon, no matter what I do.

Cameron

At this point, I can only stop the infected from tearing apart everyone in this forsaken town.

Phoebe

*Gapes*

Phoebe

How is the sickness spreading?

Cameron glares at the ground, jaw clenching.

Cameron

We don't know.

Something like pity wells up in me.

Phoebe

(I feel bad for her.)

Phoebe

(She must hate not knowing what's making people sick.)

Cameron

The victims don't seem to be contagious.

Cameron

But the townsfolk don't stand a chance against their attacks.

Phoebe

That begs the question , just how is it being transmitted?
