Nicole tries to hold her legs, but the woman is too fast.

She leaps to her feat , hands curled into claws.

Cameron is already preparing another sedative, eyeing the woman warily.

Her bloodshot eyes rove around the room before landing in front of me.

I want to run, but my limbs refuse to move.

The woman leaps at me, claws reaching for my neck.

I scream, bracing for the blow.

Nicole shields me in the blink of an eye.

I duck to avoid her swiping claws.
