Chapter 5

We took a seat at the corner and sat in front of each other. I looked around and motioned a waiter to come and take the order. Until then I waited and wandered my gaze at the surroundings. The place was lit with candle lights and the ACs were set to moderate cool temperature. The atmosphere was dull and peaceful.

I saw her with her eyes down on her lap. I smiled as she stroked her hair back her ears and peeped at me for a millisecond shyly. The waiter came and took the order and went away, leaving us alone again. The area in which we were sitting was quite crowded but it felt like I was alone with her. With my sweet Cassie. The ringing Bells of my heart.My one and only love. While I was lost in her, the food came and she started eating.

"Do you like it?" I asked her to assure myself that she was fine now after that horrible happening back at my place.

"Yes.. its good." She whispered to her self.

She sounded better. Thanks God. I took a breath of relief and started eating my food. We enjoyed our delicious food. I paid for our sittings and moved out.

As we moved to my car, with her walking side-by-side, I was mesmerized by the soothing cool breeze as it blew past us. And then I smelled the aroma of the soil being soaked in rain. Ahh... it's soo comforting. Its drizzling.

It brings richness to each hues of my feelings and deepens in a way that soothes my heart, bringing a steadiness to my soul.The pitter patter of the drizzle creates a cloud of peace around me. I love the rain, I always have. The sky is grey today,everything is some form of grey, it always has been on days like this. I sometimes wonder what color, things are when it's raining. Maybe there is only black and white and different shades in between. That in between the space of wonder, of mystery, is a place that I love. I wonder what is going on in her head. I wish she would reveal all her thoughts. What is she thinking right now? Her feelings? She is my mystery that I have always loved to solve.

I peeped a gaze at her from the corner of my eye and saw a small smile on her face. It lightens up my heart every time to see her happy.Perhaps this is joy, a happiness that feels pure.

Instead of going to my car, I gently grabbed her hand, avoiding her confused look and continued walking up to the sea shore that was just near the walking distance. I know she loves rain too. She loved heights and she loved the sea. She loved black and so tangled in herself in a tempting way that I loved so much. I walked to the sand and took away my shoes, feeling the small particles underneath my feet.

I ran my weathered hands over the dark rain-kissed soil, the damp earth was perfect. I saw Cassie, she too curled her bare toes over the shore dirt. It was pleasingly cool, refreshing even. It was a pleasure to see her as she crouched down to run her hands though the wet earth and I watched as it clumped around her fingers. When she raised her hands to see the effect she could see the runs of mud in the soft creases of her hands like mini-rivers coursing their way to her wrists. She plunged them into the earth again just to feel its coolness on her skin.

Oh my sweet Bells, I want to give you every pleasure of this world, every happiness.. even if that happiness doesn't include me...

It was the stillness of the night with a full moon shining, giving off the slivery light on her innocent playful face. I took her hand into mine and sat,with her in my arms and gazing out at the waves. The ocean moved and the wind blew, but to me everything had so still like the touch of her hands on mine.In that extended moment, my mind became at peace.

Bells,in your silence, you scare me. Perhaps it is the moonlight making your skin so pale, of the lack of wind letting every hair hang without movement, I'm not sure. You don't even blink, just keep your eyes on the sea as if it whispers secrets to you.

Cassie, I don't know about my death.. but one thing is for sure... You'll be the death of me and I know, I 'll die happily. My wild thoughts rushed from my brain to my heart. So wild are the hearts of mankind, I now understand why they are kept inside ribs.. the cages for wild creatures.

I kissed her softly on the neck. I didn't wish to move my body away from hers.I wish I could feel that feeling for evermore.I know she was burning by the sensation of my lips on her neck but I won't resist now.I don't want to move away from my Bells.I Love you bells.I love you so much.

..And I can't help loving myself and I don't need somebody else, No.. No, If I was you I wanna be too, I wanna be me too.. Oh gosh that song is just my type. Yeah!Volume up! .. Uh, bored. Song change. Thunder, T-t-Thunder.. yeah! Songs rock. Me.. I rock! Okay.. Uh, Enough. Change. Young money, to todo Love in a thousand different flavors,.I wish that I could taste them all tonight..No, I ain't got no dinner plans..So you should bring all your friends..I swear that to all your 'all my type... Okay enough again! Uh! Stupid songs. BHAL..

I removed the headphones from my head and heard the door shouting at me. BANG! BANG!!

"Hey you, Cassie! Open up! Are you deaf or something?!"

"What!" I shouted out,still laying cozy in my queen sized bed.

"Gosh! Open up!" Lizzy shouted back.

Uh! It's just 11.46 am. The sun hasn't come out yet or maybe my curtains are close, Whatever..

I sulkily got out of my bed and crawled toward the door. What's with the door. Can't it open itself up! Silly Door! I clicked turned the knob, opening the lock and then the door. What's with her now? Why is she looking at me like that! Silly sister! LOL.

"What?" I asked her in a vague tune.

"I am standing here for half an hour, you deaf!"

"Just shut up and spill it out"

"Mom is calling you. She wanna talk about something important."
