Hugs And Forgiveness

*C**hapter 15*

He again looked at me with a lust. I was getting a little uncomfortable. Although he was very handsome and half of the girls at my school had a crush on him, I never thought about him as he was my teacher back then. I just gave him an awkward smile and greeted him goodbye. He stopped me from behind and said he should hang out sometimes. I just smiled and nodded and went out.

I met with all my friends and teachers. They were so happy to see me again as I was. Then I went to Henry's. It was good that he was polite this time unexpectedly, and greeted me warmly. He asked me to come in.

"You gave a big surprise. It's nice to see you again Bells." he said with a smile.

"Thanks Henry. Tell me how are you? What are you doing nowadays?"

" I am doing just fine. I have been practicing teaching now in High School . I think you know my colleague. His name is Peter Byers."

"Oh yes, he was my teacher. He was very good actually. I hope you do very well in the future."

"Yeah, Thanks. Oh sorry, I just forgot to ask, what would you like to eat?"

"No, no thanks. I just wanted to meet you and Kevin. Well, where is he?"

"Probably out with his friends."

"Ok, It was nice to see you again Henry. I should be going now."

"Wait Belles." He said with his eyes gazing down. It was very rare when he did it.

" What is it, Henry?" I asked with curiosity.

" I.. I wanted to apologize, for what I did back then. I was really a jerk to you. I am sorry for that. Mom's death was a great setback for me. I couldn't blame God, but poured my anger on you all, especially you. I am really sorry."

He had sincerity in his voice. I was at last happy that he had apologized to me. He said as he really meant it. I could not do anything but forgive him, also it was a long time ago from now and I wanted good terms with everyone. After a moment of silence, I hugged him.

"It's okay Henry. I hope we will be friends again like we were before."

He smiled and hugged me back. He greeted me bye and I left.

I went back home, called John. It was always a pleasure to hear his voice. I asked him when he would come back. He asked why I was asking because he didn't know that I was here. I just told him to come quickly and he said that he would be back the next day. I threw myself on the bed. Don't know what's gotten into me. I was dying to see him. Also I was curious whether he would like me. All this time, I had been thinking about what mom said about having associates or frankly saying a husband.

I smiled at my own thoughts, burring my face in my pillow due to shyness. Just thinking of him in this way gave me goosebumps. I was still lost in my thoughts when my phone rang a message bell. I picked up my phone to see it was from my teacher Peter.
