Episode 11

After making sure that Luca had fallen soundly asleep, Zhia returned to her own room. She needed to rest earlier to avoid being late again like in the past.

On the other hand, Rayden was joyously celebrating his victory for defeating someone who had tried to breach his email.

"Hahahahaha... I'm positive that person must be crying right now. Their computer is probably emitting black smoke by now," Rayden laughed heartily.

"But who is this person? They nearly succeeded in breaching the security system, which I've made increasingly complicated for the second time. That means they're not an easy opponent for me to contend with."

Reluctantly, Rayden had to acknowledge the prowess of this person who had attempted to breach his email for the second time.

"Enough, I'd better get some rest now. Tomorrow I'll have them enhance the security for BLOUSHZE Group's system."

Rayden switched off his computer and walked to his bedroom to sleep.

The next morning, Luca appeared exceedingly sullen ever since he woke up.

This piqued Lucia's curiosity about what was bothering her brother. They were getting ready for breakfast, and amidst eating, Lucia inquired.

"Big bro, what's wrong? Why do you look so glum? Did something happen?"

"Of course, your brother is sad, Luci! His beloved computer emitted lots of smoke last night and now it won't work anymore," Zhia chimed in, eager to tease her son.

"Mama!?" Luca protested with a pout that was rather endearing.

"What?! How did that happen, bro?" Lucia exclaimed in shock, knowing well how meticulously Luca took care of his computer.

Luca couldn't disclose the real reason right then because their mother was there. He simply remained silent, his face still bearing a pout.

"Come on, no need to stay upset. After school, Mama will buy you a new computer, okay?"

Zhia promised her son, knowing full well his passion for computers and the IT world.

"Really? Mama promises?"

Luca needed to be absolutely certain of his mother's promise, his eyes sparkling with hope.

"Yes, darling! Mama promises, so finish your breakfast now and after that, off to school. Understand?"

Zhia smiled, kissing Luca's forehead tenderly as he sat next to her.

"Mama, I want a kiss too!" Lucia asked jealously, desiring the same affection as her brother from their mother.

"Come here, let Mama kiss Luci too. Mmmuachhh!"

Zhia gladly planted a kiss on her daughter's forehead with affection.

After breakfast, Zhia promptly drove her twin children to school.

Then, she set off for BLOUSHZE Group's company. Fortunately, she arrived on time this day, but another streak of misfortune suddenly appeared.

"Zhia? You're Zhia, right?"

A man greeted her and it turned out to be Liam Hudson. Zhia's unrequited first love who had humiliated her in front of everyone and prompted her to seek solace with a stranger, which eventually led to her having Luca and Lucia. She did not respond to the greeting, only giving Liam a scornful look.

"Hey, you haven't forgotten who I am, have you?" Liam continued, showing no remorse towards Zhia.

"How could I forget a scoundrel like you!" Zhia retorted with sharp disdain.

"Haha, you've certainly changed now!"

Instead of feeling insulted, Liam was pleased to see Zhia's defiant stance.

"Of course, I'm not the old Zhia anymore," Zhia stated confidently.

Liam suddenly leaned closer to whisper to Zhia, "I also like who you are now; you look beautiful and very sexy!"

"You..."

"Both of you have arrived. Please follow me to the meeting room now!"

Zhia's words were cut off because Will suddenly appeared, ushering them to follow him right away. Without Will's interruption, Zhia might have struck Liam's arrogant face.

With great self-control, Zhia trailed behind Will and Liam, who had already started walking ahead of her. Upon arriving at the meeting room, many individuals were already there, waiting.
