Upon arriving home, Zhia instructed her twins to repack their belongings.
That's because Zhia had secured a larger new house with the assistance from Luca, who planted a virus on their boss's computer.
Once their packing was complete, Zhia led her twins to an affluent residential area in that neighborhood.
She was determined to provide a comfortably sized home for her kids while they resided in Country A. She didn't want them to endure hardships like she had faced.
Zhia tidied up her stuff, as did Luca and Lucia who each had their own rooms.
They organized and arranged their new home until time nearly escaped them into the evening.
"Mom, Luca has finished arranging the bedroom and put all Luca's clothes in the wardrobe," reported Luca, updating his mother on his completed tasks.
"Luci is done too, Mom!" chimed in Lucia, who had also finished arranging her room.
"Really? I'll be done shortly too. Do you want to help?" Zhia asked with a proud smile, impressed by her twins' independence.
"Okay, Mom! I'll arrange your room," Lucia said, dashing into her mother's bedroom enthusiastically.
"I'll help Mom fold clothes," Luca followed Lucia, sitting down right beside his mother.
"Thank you, darling!" said Zhia softly, stroking Luca's hair.
With Luca and Lucia's help, Zhia could tidy up their spacious home before dinner time approached.
Now it was time for them to work together to prepare the special dinner Zhia had promised.
Because they all pitched in, the eagerly awaited dinner menu was now neatly set on the table.
"Mom, are we going to have dinner now?" asked Lucia, saliva pooling in anticipation.
"Soon, honey! You both need to shower first, you're sweaty,"
Zhia instructed the twins to clean up before eating to prevent them from getting sick from bathing too late.
"Okay, Mom! We'll go shower now," Luca responded, sprinting towards the bathroom in his room.
"Don't forget to shower too, Mom! Hehehehee..." laughed Lucia as she darted off.
"Those kids!" exclaimed Zhia, her smile reflecting her joy.
After everyone had freshened up, they gathered at the dining table to their dinner. Amidst the pleasant meal, a spark of curiosity flickered in little Lucia's mind.
"Mom, did you visit the BLOUSHZE Group today?" inquired Lucia with a mouth full of food.
"Yes, I did. Why do you ask, sweetie?" Zhia replied casually, savoring her meal while Luca listened attentively.
"Really? Did you meet that famous CEO? I heard he's very handsome. Is that true, Mom?"
Lucia peppered her mother with excited questions.
"Uhukk...Uhukkk..."
Zhia nearly choked on her food when she heard her daughter's questions.
"Are you okay, Mom?" Luca asked, promptly bringing her a glass of water.
"Hmmm, I'm fine! Thank you, dear!"
Zhia downed the water Luca offered and thanked him.
Lucia appeared nonchalant, having anticipated her mother's reaction to her questions.
"Mom, answer Luci's question, will you?" requested Lucia, her eyes gleaming like a cat's.
"Umm, in my opinion, he's not that handsome," Zhia replied, reluctant to acknowledge Rayden's attractiveness in front of her twins.
"Really? I thought he was very handsome," Lucia said, slightly disappointed by her mother's response.
"That's just my opinion. Others might find him very handsome as tastes differ, sweetie!" Zhia explained to her daughter.
"I'd be happy if you thought he was very handsome," Lucia said, her lips pouting.
"Why does it matter if Mom says he's just average? It doesn't affect us!" interjected Luca, intrigued by his sister's line of thought.
"Of course it matters to us, brother!" Lucia exclaimed passionately, leaving Zhia perplexed by her enthusiasm.
"He's wealthy, intelligent, and skilled. If Mom found him handsome, then surely he'd be a perfect dad for us."
Lucia fervently praised Rayden in front of her brother and mother, confidently declaring that only Rayden Cano Xavier would be worthy of being their father.
"Uhukkk...Uhukkk...Uhukkk......."
Now it wasn't just Zhia who choked on her food; Luca rushed to the sink to spit out what was in his mouth.
Zhia grabbed her glass of water and drank it all, while Luca rinsed and gargled. Feeling relieved, Luca returned to his seat.
"Are you all right, dear?" Zhia asked upon seeing Luca back at the table.
"Yes, Mom! And you?" he inquired about his mother's well-being.
"I'm fine!" Zhia offered a slightly strained smile.
"Sorry, Luci! Did Luci's words make you and brother choke?"
Luci's eyes began to well up, guilt-stricken by the thought that she was to blame.
"Yes, dear! Mom and Luca are okay, right?" Zhia looked to Luca for confirmation.
"Yes, Mom! So Luci, no crying," Lucas tried to reassure his nearly tearful sister.
"But please, Luci, don't talk like that again, especially in front of strangers, okay?" instructed Zhia, hoping to convey the seriousness of her request, to which Lucia nodded understandingly.
"Good. Let's finish our meal, then wash up, brush teeth, and go to bed. Remember, we need to wake up early for school tomorrow!" Zhia said as she kissed her daughter on the forehead.
"Yes, Mom!" Luca and Lucia responded in unison.
They continued their dinner as if nothing had happened. Following their mother's instructions, Luca and Lucia returned to their rooms to wash up, brush their teeth, and then head to bed.
